I recently purchased a 8tb external hard drive that needs to be plugged in all the time to my ps4. So I needed extra room so I didn't take away from controller ports. This is a quick easy fix so now I have even extra room for controllers or flash drives.

I've always been unplugging various devices in and out of the USB ports on my PS4: Headphones receiver, Guitar hero reciever, Skylanders/Lego Dimension bases, and charging cords. This unit goes over both of the USB devices and looks seamless on the PS4. This gives you 3 additional USB slots (even though the device has 5), as it plugs into the 2 current USB slots. Only 1 of the USB ports is available to charge during rest mode, so this is not ideal for someone looking for a charging station, but works great if you don't want to have to keep changing all your peripheral USB devices.

My son purchased this and put it on the front of his PS4 so he could just plug in other devices such as his controls and headphones and his cell phone to the front of the PS4 and not have to reach to the back side all of the time.

Strong construction. Very easy to install and it has a light to indicate that is properly installed and providing power to your accessories. So far, I have installed controllers, headphones, jump drives and external hard disks and ALL worked properly on any port I have chosen. NOTE: I have found that if you have an accessory which requires too much charge (like my wireless headphones), use the left port to charge it (USB 3.0), it charges faster. I will definitely recommend this product to any PS4 owner.

I have my external memory, usb head set, and 2 cables for my controls connected.i just plugged it in, the light came on and it started working. Only problem with this equipment is it blocks my Bluetooth remote control when I watch ps Vue.

This product easily connects to your playstation and gives you the ability to have more than the two standard usb ports. (Note that this will not work for the PS4 slim)

Not sure why I didn't get this sooner. With controllers, Lego Dimensions portal and Disney Infinity portal all needing USB ports, I was constantly swapping USB cables. This unit solves that problem and it looks like it's part of the PS4. The one USB 3.0 port is a pass-thru for one of the original ports, so you can charge controllers while the machine is in rest mode. The other ports won't charge during sleep, but that's fine. Really happy with this hub.

This is a great thing to have for anyone that owns the original PS4. It's very convinient; I used to have to unplug some things from the USB ports but not anymore. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband had been looking for something like this for a while. He feels it's a great product and exactly what he needed it for. Now he can reach ports easily an has 1 extra lol

Easy to install, quite an effort to fit it into the PS4. Simply expands the ports from 2 to 4.

This is great it plugs into the two existing ports and gives you 5 I have not used all ports but so far I have receivers and charging cables hooked up they all work fine

I was looking for a simple way to connect more usb devices to my PS4 this allows that. So now I have my wireless headphone dongle and I can charge multiple controllers at the same time.

Easy way to add usb ports to your PS4. Works great. Attaches easily. However, I wish there was a color choice as the black hub doesn't look all that great with my white PS4 console. Also, when you don't turn off the PS4 completely (set it to rest mode), the blue light on the hub stays on showing that it still has power (I guess to charge controllers if needed), but the light is distracting.

I needed more USB ports than just the two that was already there. I have guitar hero and another controller. and the others would a great add since I have the PlayStation headset.

I have one similar to this on my PS3 & love it, so when I came across this for the PS4 it was a no brainer & I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I have more than one more than two products using the USB port it a time would recommend even though not us on the product works great with me is for that amount

Being able to charge all 4 remotes at once is huge in my home. No more dead remotes and fighting. This product saved many fights between the kids.

I needed the extra ports, one for my Nycon controller, my Bluetooth adapter and a charging cable for my headphones. Plus I still have 2 ports.

Worked great for multiple wired controllers, bluetooth headset, and charging cables. Except for the Insignia logo, looks like it came with the PS4.

I really love the idea of this PS4 USB hub. When plugged in to the front of the unit, it looks as if it is part of the console itself. The problem is that it takes up both ports on the front of the PS4 and an external drive will not work when plugged into it. The ability to use an external drive was a much awaited feature that you cannot take advantage of if you use this hub. Granted it's not necessarily the fault of the hub, but nevertheless if you use it, you cannot plug in an external drive.
