I needed about 65-70' run. The sales rep. guided me through the options, which resulted in my purchase of the 100' cord, rather than the 50' with an inline connector hooking to my 25'. This Cat 6 cable clips in well and holds in place even if the laptop is moved around. My download and upload speeds are very fast with this cable and in line with the speeds promised by my cable provider.
