Probably would have been fine with something like a 50 foot one for my purposes. However, I have had no issues with the cable and work great for routing allong the trim of the room with my router all the way around that room, along the trim in the hallway, into another room, around THAT trim and finally to the computer.

He told me to go to best buy and get the long cable as it reaches from the wall 12ft to the back of the TV. Having the 14ft gave us a bit more cable to work with so the connection between the two was not tight. For the price and the little extra two feet makes a great bargain and shows they were thinking of similar situations where the standard room is 12 feet giving extra for the same price.

Enter this insignia Cable and the PS5 never dropped connection again, plus, my downloads are a full 200Mb faster. On a 1Gb connection with a monster of an ASUS router, PC is clocking a download at 1.2Gb and the PS5 is testing around 600Mb. I recommend this cable.
