The most appealing aspect of this product is that it is available for pick up in store without hassle. The connectors for this cable while secure and clean can be difficult to remove from ports, probably best used with a device at a permanent location and not with a laptop or other device that will need to be disconnected or moved regularly. It is far less expensive in the long term to buy a crimping tool and bulk Cat-6 rated cable and connectors and cut it to specific required lengths based on need. The price may be worth the convenience if you do not wish to store a large spool of cable otherwise these cables should be considered overpriced unless you have an immediate and singular need.

I purchased a few of the 8' and one 14' of the cat 6s. Good material and I like the overhook on the release pin to protect it.
