Here is a simple, quick and reasonably priced solution to get your Ethernet into another room close by without the extra cost of the cable/satellite service technician coming and charging you an arm and a leg. The Insignia™ - 50' Cat-6 Network Cable will do the trick and extend your Ethernet connection where you want or need it. The 50 foot cable best fit my needs with some flexibility as to the uses. With several options to run the cable either above window frames or (if you dare brave the cold and dirty enviroment) underneath the house into the room where you need it. Eiher way and I opted for the first, tacked into place with cable fasteners out of sight, it opened up our den to devices that require ethernet to funtion taking out of an already gadget cluttered living room. So far no issues and everything I have connected works great! A wise, cost affective solution and another "Honey Do" off my long list....

There's not a whole lot to say about cords, cables, or connections. I bought this one to do a certain job and it works just fine. I will say this though...I asked one of the employees at Best Buy why the light gray cord was more expensive than the dark gray cord. He said the dark gray network cable was an older model. The lighter gray network cable was a newer model. He said they both work just fine, so there was nothing to worry about if I decided to buy the darker gray Network cable. But, I got the newer model, light gray, Network cable, just for my own piece of mind. I had just spent over $1,000 on a new computer. So I figured that a few extra dollars for a more up to date cable would be the best way to make sure that everything was totally compatible. And, I'm happy with my decision.

I purchased this cable so that I could run an ethernet hard line from my router in my livingroom under the rafters in the basement thru the side header bond plate into my garage, I do computer repair and have a big tv with a computer and roku setup out there and wanted to take advantage of my charter cable's 60mbs plan. Currently thru wireless the roku was weak due to walls and distance, same with the computer, I would get spotty connections for things like netflix with breakups and pauses while it buffered up very annoying when you are trying to watch something or have a music video concert on, try explaining that to a 7 year old watching barbie thru netflix too :)

I had to have a LAN connection, but the wall connection was in the next room so I had to improvise. I had to relocate a workstation and it was on the opposite side of the wall from where the wall connection was. Enter the CAT6 Ethernet Cable 50 FT. Yes, it is longer than required, but after running this over a drop ceiling of the room and concealed it in that manner without making it look too bad, not only did we hide the cable, we also gave the desktop a LAN connection in the process. We also left the balance of the cable rolled and tied up hidden under the workstation in case we need to move it more. I would definitely buy more of these quality cables. Works GREAT!

It's easy to see the craftsmanship that went into making this cable. I've accidentally tripped over it which yanked it so hard that I would have sworn that the connectors were ripped right off the ends or, at the very least, that the little plastic thumb clips that secure them into place had snapped off as they often do and with far less stress. However, not only did they stay secured to each end of the cable, but they also stayed snugly inside of each port...and with both thumb clips completely undamaged as well. These cables are great and I will buying more of them to replace the broken ones in the near future.

I needed to extend my wired network to take full advantage of my TWC high speed internet in my home office. The TWC WiFi is fine for most of the house, but in the office I connect to a VPN, stream music, and hold webcasts and conference calls using VoIP. I need some horsepower in that room. So I ran two 50' CAT6 cables through the attic and down through the walls and viola! 300Mbps internet in my office. The cables are long enough to reach, have good connectors at the ends, and are flexible enough to run through fire breaks and holes in drywall. In other words, they do what they're supposed to do, which is pretty much all you can ask of a cable.

Not too long ago, I rearranged my office and when I did, I realized that I needed an extra long ethernet cable in order to connect a line from my modem to my gaming system. So, I looked for an affordable, but reliable option for ethernet cable and landed on this option. So far, it’s been a good cable. I’ve not noticed any issues with my Internet connection and speeds have been consistent. I would recommend this as an option for anyone who needs a long, durable ethernet cable.

I went into the shop to buy a network cable for my desktop, as the wireless doesn't work right. I was on the fence, between this one and the Cat-5e next to it. I went with this one after talking to the sale's rep. Works great, length is just what I needed. My only gripe, which is the loss of a start, is the thickness of the cable. It made a slight challenge passing through two doors and attaching to a wall. Other then that I love the cable and it works smoothly. Went from a 1 day Download speed to a 2 hour download, can't beat that.

My son's Xbox One was set up through our house wifi. Unfortunately, the wifi signal would cut in and out on a regular basis but any devices that we had hooked up with and ethernet cable would retain internet. So I purchased this cat-6 ethernet cable. After some research to determine what ethernet cable I would need, I decided to get the cat-6 instead of the cat-5e or cat-5. The cat-6 cable has not let us down. The signal has not dropped and my son has been able to play his Xbox uninterrupted. Great product!

I bought this cable to hardwire my gaming computer to my modem. The way my room is set up with the google fiber jack, the jack is on one side of the room and my computer is on the other. Therefore, I had to get the 50' cable to go up and over the doorway and over to my computer. Works great. Haven't noticed any delay with my internet due to the length of the cable

Cable feels rugged overall. Slightly thicker than most Ethernet cables. I personally used mine t run an Ethernet drop from my office to my living room as I was having connectivity issues with WiFi. From the living room I have a wired wireless range extender and a 5 port switch which feeds my Roku, HTPC, and PS4. Overall, I couldn't ask for anything else, it just works, albeit its a tad bit on the pricey side, but I needed it right away and best buy had it in stock.

I needed a network cable to hook up my TiVo mini. Since the cable had to be fished through a wall behind the mini and then through another wall into the basement where it would be connected to a router, I required a cable that was durable enough to withstand this treatment. Fortunately, the connectors are well made and durable. The mini works flawlessly as a result of using this cable.

my work computer had problems, so the IT dept was working on it for a whole day (actually 2 days). This cord allowed me to hot wire a laptop into the internet router which in turn provided me with the ability to continue working rather than sit there and watch the IT guys working remotely. Nothing special about the product other than it worked without any hitches, which is what I needed it to do. I'd buy it again.

My son plays rocket league on PC and he's been using WiFi. He wanted to get a better ping/connection in general so we moved to go hard wired. The distance did not effect the connection and we ran the cable from the living room to his room. He's happy he's not lagging, I'm happy he's not raging.

Bought this after finally being fed up with lagging while trying to play on my xbox one and asus desktop. Worked phenomenally bringing my download speed on xbox one from 5mbps (wireless) to 25mbps (wired) and I have yet to lag like I was in the 2 weeks I've used it. My download speed on my pc was relatively unchanged but I believe this is due to my computer and not the product.

This cord does the job it needs to. It's quite long and reaches across the room to where I need it. Atlas, my cane corso puppy, likes it as well, but he only likes the taste. Would I recommend this? Why yes, I would. Being that I've had 4 of these in the last 4 months I would even recommend them to myself. I would also recommend dog training to accompany it if the necessity arises.

I am preparing my home network for U-Verse high speed internet. I slowly have been replacing switches, routers, network cards, and cables. This cable was on sale at Best Buy and I needed fifty feet which usually costs a fortune. The ends are well made and the cable did not kink easily. This particular cable connects my new amplifier to my home network and worked perfectly. High speed at a great price. Yeah...

We upgraded our router, but had to attach it to the modem, on the other side of the office. Used this product to connect the two. This cable is available by various other companies and in various lengths. This worked for us. The stable connectivity has been wonderful. From time to time, cable connections wear out, so before throwing out any hardware, it's best to try new cables first.
