Remote do not pair to TV, message says offline

It was no longer available so customer service offered this TV instead. I am unable to pair remote to TV, it is saying remote offline. It appears to be a problem with this TV because there are serveral videos online on how to fix, which I tried. Called customer service, who said only had 15 days return policy, (purchased August 25, but just setup last week). Rep Told me to buy another remote myself, or claim warranty in store or call warranty department, I maybe able to get one.

I haven't had it long,so I am hoping that it will last. Very intuitive and remote has easy access buttons to make navigation very easy. The only drawback for me is that it is deeper than I would like. It is wall mounted so not flush at all. Picked this up for under $200. Certainly worth the money.
