Shuts itself off

It feels cheap since it is cheap. The main issue is that this tv shuts itself off after about 5 minutes of inactivity. Extremely annoying to me. A simple software update could fix the issue but the developers refuse - Despite thousands of irritated customer complaints over several years. Wish I would have researched before buying.

DONT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING AND BOT BE HOME

I got a text message and email saying my order was ready to be shipped on Wednesday 12/4 at 8:44am and I would receive it on Friday 12/6. I went to mother’s cancer treatment at 915am @ 10:44 same day 12/4 I received text message and email stating my order was delivered. 6 hours later I arrived home and no TV . 10 days and a trip to the VESTAL BEST BUY THEY CANCELLED REPLACEMENT TV AND REFUND AND SAID NOT THEIR PROBLEM. DONT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AND NOT BE HOME YOU LOSE YOUR $$ AND time . THEY DONT CARE AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND. My GRANDSON OUT HIS CHRISTMAS PRESENT HERE IS MY PROOF

Ultimate Disappointment

The first insignia died just short of two years. This one starting exhibiting weird shadows less than two months after the purchase. I am returning to the store.

Tv broke after 1 month

And when you do that, they don’t give you an option to add new insurance. A consistent black screen that won’t fix even after factory reset and the screen isn’t fully attached either. Make sure to call them if any of these similar problems happen to you.

2 Broke in 4 months!!

Returned for another that broke three months later. Best Buy says they will fix the TV for 1.75 times of the original purchase price. Reporting to BBB. Scam.

Fire TV vs Roku

I believe it was worth it for the price at the time. It does do this weird wavy thing intermittently on the screen while watching it. I thought a fire tv would be better but I actually prefer Roku.

Junk and a hassle to deal with

I have had it less than three months and it’s showing vertical lines on the screen. I called customer support and after waiting 13 minutes to connect to someone, I was told that I need to drive to the local store and either take the TV myself, or tell them in person that I need this picked up and replaced. Why in the world do I have to drive somewhere? Isn’t this why we have phones? Complete hassle.

Fifteen Months

I suddenly get vertical streaks that are clearly a display problem, not software or firmware. And yes, I didn't get the extended warranty, so I'm eating the $370.
