    Bright patch in screen across 2 TVs - defective

    This confused me because this TV got consistently good reviews - not sure what happened, but I purchased two of these and had to return both due to defects with the screen. The first looked like a bright spot in the lower middle half of the screen, about 24 inches in diameter. At first I thought it may have just been due to the LED warming up, but it was clearly visible across any media with dark colors, and lasted for a whole day without changing. I brought it back to exchange for the same model, took that one home, and immediately saw the same problem upon setting it up. Not sure if I’m the unlucky witness of a freak coincidence or if this is a defect, but the TVs were bought at 2 different locations, so it could be widespread. Thanks to Best Buy for taking them back, no questions asked.

    i bought this TV 2x already they stop working exactly after the insurance date so it’s not beneficial to buy the policy because you won’t use it within 2 years you’d need to get the 5 year plan for $75 but at that point you can just purchase a new TV this is my 3rd tv bought today because it’s under 300$ putting a 75$ insurance policy on it is a 3rd of the cost of the product and it’s a lump sum indont have on hand but i also used ZIP PAY(quad pay) & i pay every 2 weeks

    This tv has adequate but basic picture and sound. It feels cheap since it is cheap. The main issue is that this tv shuts itself off after about 5 minutes of inactivity. Extremely annoying to me. A simple software update could fix the issue but the developers refuse - Despite thousands of irritated customer complaints over several years. Wish I would have researched before buying.

    I give them a negative 0. I got a text message and email saying my order was ready to be shipped on Wednesday 12/4 at 8:44am and I would receive it on Friday 12/6. I went to mother’s cancer treatment at 915am @ 10:44 same day 12/4 I received text message and email stating my order was delivered. 6 hours later I arrived home and no TV . 10 days and a trip to the VESTAL BEST BUY THEY CANCELLED REPLACEMENT TV AND REFUND AND SAID NOT THEIR PROBLEM. DONT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AND NOT BE HOME YOU LOSE YOUR $$ AND time . THEY DONT CARE AND GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND. My GRANDSON OUT HIS CHRISTMAS PRESENT HERE IS MY PROOF

    This is the second time I purchased this exact same brand and size. The first insignia died just short of two years. This one starting exhibiting weird shadows less than two months after the purchase. I am returning to the store.
