Easy set up-we plugged this bad boy into a wall outlet and like magic it worked. This replaces our 11" black and white Philips TV-which served us really well for many years. But now we see our favorite shows in color with multiple pixies-wow! DO NOT BUY IF YOUR PARTNERS NAME IS ALEXA-this can get tacky rather quickly-trust me this is my wife's name.

What They Don't Tell You

I was very excited about scoring a 4K tv for around $300, and a 50 in. no less. What the box (nor sales person) doesn't tell you is that it DOES NOT stream in 4K or even a good 1080 for that matter. I found this out when I was messing around w/the settings (it's an Amazon tv). It will play in 4K once a device of some kind is plugged into the HDMI port, but in this day and age it shouldn't have to. It's a SMART TV for crying out loud. The fact that it rarely gives you a 1080 picture while streaming is frustrating as well.
