Placed dehumidifier in the basement. Easy to unwrap out of the box. Just plug in and turn on. Very efficient.

The Insignia dehumidifier is built with quality materials, runs efficientlly, and is fairly quiet. It can be drained via hose, but we empty the dehumidifier water container every few days.

First the pros then the cons, This machine is a work horse!! It fills up fast within 2-3 hours and auto shuts off when it's full, so you just turn it on and let it go to work, this thing works just as good as any other brand and costs less!! I also purchased the 4 year protection plan because I don't trust todays craftsmanship. there are a few cons with this machine, along with any other dehumidifier the air that it pushes out is... Hot, yes in the hot weather with highest humidity, this machine pushes out more hot air and it can raise the temperature in a room dramatically. I need to pair this dehumidifier with an air conditioner that I am able to set the temperature to, normally I have the air conditioner set to 73, but the heat that this machine pushes out I need to set the A.C. to 76/77/78 or the AC won't take breaks and constantly run. this is one of the best purchases I could have made, before my walls and window shutters would be wet from the humidity. There also seems to be craftmanship problems surfacing, I have noticed (i think) that something seems to be malfunctioning or functioning correctly by shutting off or shutting off temporarily, I have noticed that it sometimes pushes out cold air, and sometimes squeals or something inside turns off with a shaking rumble sound. don't really know what the + and - next to the humidity display not sure if that function works or how to set it. I purchased this late last season and have waited til this season to review just hope it lasts past the 4 years. if you are looking for a dehumidifier this is the best bang for the buck

Separated sections of my basement so bought this to augment existing humidifier and quickly realized how poorly the old one worked. Drops and holds humidity at setpoint great (verified by external temp/humidity gauge. Picked this one due to reviews and sale price, turned out to be great.

Has many of the features that you would want in a dehumidifier including an LED screen where one can set the humidity percentage where the power will fully activate, versus the actual humidity in the room. So far the unit has worked efficiently, removing the moisture in our basement.

First time owning a dehumidifier, so maybe they all work like this but regardless, I’m so happy we purchased this one. After a leak and terrible smell, we put this in our basement. Within hours it got rid of so much water and has since made our basement smell so fresh. It was great in turbo mode to resolve the issue. We now leave it on energy saver to keep our downstairs fresh. Such a great purchase! I’m really grateful.

The only thing that is a bummer is that i was under the impression that the drain cord was in the box. It is sold separately. I would have gotten it if i had known..... I was told it came with...

Seems to work well, easy to set up, and much quieter than my old dehumidifier. During periods of high humidity, the 50-pint container fills about every 4-5 hours in my basement. I probably should have bought a larger one, but this one works just fine.

I have a basement that gets wet every time it rains. This dehumidifier worked instantly and collected the water decreasing the humidity in the home. When removing the tray I spilled some of the water. Need to purchase the house and set it up so I am not manually dumping it daily. Great product and great price.

This thing is a Tank and quiet. This has the option to fill in a bucket or hook-up a hose for output of moisture. It works and it works well!

very pleased with this unit. We have a wet/damp basement at our summer cabin. It suck up the moisture in a short period of time. Didn't smell musty in our house. Only thing, and may be it does have a timer to have it run two hours on and off. Haven't read the manual yet.

Works really well. I cannot believe how much water it extracts from the air. It reduces humidity fast. I turn it on before going to bed and by morning the containe is full of water. It automatically turns off when full. If you have lots of humidity in your home, i highly recommend it.

I bought my first one last year. It lasted about 14 months and stopped sucking the moisture out even though it was still constantly running. Luckily had a 4 year warranty. Got a replacement. Been using the new one for about 2 months and working great. Looks like dehumidifiers by nature don’t last that long? Did so many researches and this was the best I could find. It’s a really nice looking unit that works great. Not sure why it stopped working the first time after 14 months. I would recommend it to anyone. Just make sure to buy a warranty. This apples to any dehumidifier brand

This product works well and keeps our basement dry and smelling clean. The only downside is that it is very loud.

Been solid in my laundry room with auto on/off bases on desired humidity level ... very effective.

We love this dehumidifier! It is very quiet and works great. Basement was dry it out very quickly have even set softball items that need dried out next to it and it pulls all the moisture quickly. Very happy with this item.

Bought because we have 1 bathroom with 5 kids, and the humidity was horrible after showers,and water would drop from ceiling, and run down walls. After doing some research got this thing ,and was blown away. Not only can everyone shower , but it’s like night ,and day. Amazing wish I would have bought it sooner

Amazing little machine! Super easy to use and my house is liveable again. This gave my air conditioner the partner it desperately needed to keep up with the soupy, sticky summer heat and allowed all of us, including the dog, to finally sleep comfortably again.
