This unit has been constantly de-humidifying our farmhouse for two months now. Humidity levels were above 80% and are now at 40%. The unit is fairly quiet. Price was great. I hope it lasts.

This is an excellent little machine. Removed the humidity from my downstairs instantly and kept it cool.

I bought this to replace my Medea dehumidifier which quit working after 3 months. I like this one so much more. Better design and better quality. Hope this one last longer.

This dehumidifier is priced right, is easy to operate, and does what it is supposed to. I bought this to supplement a failiing HVAC unit until I could get it fixed. The unit pulled humidity out of the air in a fairly large space in a few hours. I went from about 70 to 55 in several hours in about a 1700 sqf area.

Good dehumidifier at a great price. Bought an open-box item, It comes with some cosmetic defects(bent leg), which is expected with an open-box item. Working great, simple, easy to use. Not sure why I saw many open-box units in the BestBuy Outlet.

I have to say this is one of the best dehumidifiers I’ve ever owned. It is quiet and extremely efficient. I highly recommend this one.

So, I wasn’t planning to leave a review and randomly came back to see how much the price changed. I bought this item on 4/26/22, and today is 10/6/24. I saw some negative reviews and thought how odd my experience has been pleasant. As you can see, my unit is a little over two years old. I purchased this unit for a previous home where I had to do foundation repairs. At that home, I could leave it on Comfort mode 24/7 with a hose hookup and there were no issues, and no freezing. Just moved to a new location with a finished basement and multiple rooms. It works great here for the big open area but can’t pull in from smaller rooms built off, which is fair. I usually empty it twice a day when it’s halfway full, so that is one full tank daily. However, that will depend on your area; so far still no issues. *knock on wood* I can say I am please with the purchase. It does what I need it to do. Treat it with care and keep up the small maintenance, and you'll be fine.

I was very skeptical about this, but decided to buy it anyway. It works surprisingly well. I had a pipe break behind the wall and the wall was soaked. The house smelled moldy and there were mushrooms growing on the wall. After a few days of using this dehumidifier the mushrooms are gone. The moldy smell is gone. And I can see on the wall where the water is drying. This is one of the best investments I have made, and I would definitely buy it again.

This Insignia NS-DH50WH1 50-pint dehumidifier is working very well so far. Keeping my 1900 square foot basement nice and dry.

After a year: This sleek model does the job of pulling excess moisture out of the air. Variety of humidity settings and fairly easy to empty the water when full. It is a little loud to talk over, if in the same room, but the fan sound is generally not unpleasant. Appearance is innocuous.

I bought this 50-pint dehumidifier after over two years of owning a 35-pint model. I added the 50-pint as a second dehumidifier to lower the humidity of my house faster. Both dehumidifiers are now working together to keep the humidity in almost perfect range. These are low maintenance devices, never had a problem with these in over two years.

This removes a lot of water from the air. Fills after about 20 hours here in Florida. Not loud at all. Sounds like a fan in the room. I love this purchase!

Only had it a month, but price was great and it is quieter and more efficient than the Danby that only lasted just under 2 years. I think it's a winner!Great price and Quiet.

I took Y Dehumidifier back to Best Buy and they gave me a brand new one, so yes, I am very happy!

Works for my basement good. Bucket kind of cheap. But it's good

The unit has been working well for the last two months on the turbo setting in a 90 degree garage in Florida. Pulls all the moisture out of my 220 sqft garage. I am using the drain connection so no need to empty the fill tank. Purchased the 3 year protection plan from Best Buy which will cover any failures including power surges. So far so good!

So far so good, it is winter so the cellar is fairly dry, but the unit is working and maintaining 50% humidity just fine Very quiet and a lot more power efficient than the old unit
