Works fast to clear the humidity, even for the large space i have it in. The bucket-full indicator is loud enough to be heard over room noise (for us its tv/music & conversation) which i greatly appreciate. The unit is very quiet compared to other brands I've used.

Purchases this to replace a previous generic model that died last summer and it’s working without any issues. Unit is actually more quiet than the previous 50qt dehumidifier it replaced and so far haven’t had any issues. I had the water container fill up twice even though the external hose was connected but it seems to be working fine now as I haven’t had to empty it for several weeks now. It seems like humidifiers all go bad after 2-3 years so I ended up getting the replacement plan to hopeful save myself from having to buy another unit down the road. Unfortunately the unit went on sale as soon as my return period ended which didn’t allow for a price match and would have been a much better deal. (Was on sale for $150) . I would really recommend especially if you can get the unit on sale.

So far this dehumidifier is working well. It is set to keep the relative humidity percent at 55-60% and seems to be holding this level. Emptying is easy. The proof of the 5-star is durability - how long it keeps working. I hope it matches my Whirlpool 55-qt that is still working fine after four years.

I was very disappointed with the delivery time promised vs. actual delivery time from Best Buy but quickly moved on because this humidifier does the trick! I have a very humid storage shed and the turbo settings move that humidity right away. Expect some labor emptying water from the device, but overall, that's easy and it gets the jump done well.

very quiet, easy to dump the extracted water, long enough power cord to move around easily. Just be sure to be able to point the hot air fan out of the room! I should have gotten a larger capacity unit as this one fills up in 3 hours at 90 percent humidity! It does clear out the inside bathroom after showers

    Dehumidifier

Problem I'm having is finding a hose to fit into the back of the dehumidifier so I can have the accumulated water flow directly into the basement drain. Even Best Buy doesn't have one available. Sometimes takes a few tries to put the bucket back in. Takes exact placement and a strong push. Was pleased that this Energy Star unit is included in the rebates offered by ComEd. Overall, though, am pleased with the unit.

Works well and is easy to operate. There is an issue with some of the water going into the tank even though I have the hose attached so I have to empty the tank every so often. I've had that happen with other brands, so maybe it's difficult to engineer. Overall, I would still recommend this unit. I am happy with it.

I needed a dehumidifier for my basement bad and I had no idea what to get. I was lucky enough to get this on sale and it’s absolutely amazing. I’ve heard complaints it doesn’t turn off right away when it’s full but my unit beeps and then turns off right away. It’s removed so much moisture it’s insane. I absolutely recommend this dehumidifier but I wouldn’t get anything less than a 50 liter for a basement.

I replaced a much older same size dehumidifier with this one and what a difference! My old one struggled to keep the basement below 60% humidity but within 2 hours this new one got it down to 50%. I live in a humid area so I do need to empty the bucket twice a day. The filter is right on the back and easy to snap off and clean and put back on and the display lets you know when to clean the filter.

It works like a dream come true! It has a hook-up for continuous mode so you don't have to dump the bucket when full. Simply screw your garden hose on and stick it in a drain! Awesome machine!

Had a humidity problem in our basement. Checked around and found this one at Best Buy web site. At the store an associate said they did not have any on display. He check the storeroom and found one. I brought it home and it is exactly what I needed. I empty manually, but can be set up to drain by hose to drain. Takes about 50 pints a day out of the air. Central Illinois is extremely humid in the summer and fall. Perfect.

Best dehumidifier for this price! Needed a dehumidifier to put in our basement and this was affordable and highly rated, absolutely worth it!! Does great and love that we can attach a hose to drain right into the croc or dump it.

It pulls out the moisture in the air really quickly. Much faster than the smaller model I previously had. I ran it all summer and part of the fall in the basement. I just hope it works again next summer as some dehumidifiers tend to leak and ice up after awhile.

First time with this model. I am very pleased after 2 months of use. This was a great deal and I’ve always spent top dollar in past only to have dehumidifiers fail time and time again. Using it in finished basement.
