It has good enough thicknes to provide low resistance to carry great sound to the speakers. It has little spool memory, so it unwound and lays flat, so it is easy to work with while installing. Do not have to keep undoing coils

Wire is wire. They had wire for like $8 a foot, no thanks! I got this and it worked fine. Only issue is that I bought 50' and needed 100'. I measured wrong. Happens. No need for the high prices stuff unless you can hear dog whistles and stuff!

The length is good, and the thickness of the wiring is durable. I gave it four stars because I feel as if this should be included when purchasing a receiver.

The Insignia 50', 18 gauge speaker wire does a great job at powering up speakers! They also come with a marking to distinguish between positive and negative. And are reasonably priced. So let the music flow!

This speaker wire is of very good quality and does exactly what it is intended to do! For the right price and quality I would definitely have to say that this speaker WIRE is a Best Buy!

There’s 50 foot cable I used for rear speakers on the surroundsound it was easy to install the wiring comes easy after school and it’s 18 gauge and for the price it was a Great deal

Basic speaker wire and works as described. The two wire are easily separated for custom lengths and one wire has a white stripe to easily determine positive and negative connections, great price also!

this was a good speaker wire it will serve its purpose very well I am sure its pretty new in my home had to replace wiring for one of my rear home theater speakers.

Actually used this to wire LED lighting in a model train set. Intended for a different use case but had it on hand and works well for what I ended up using it for.

We had an inbuilt speaker at home, wanted to hook that up to our tv, so we went to best buy and got this speaker wire, once we plugged the speaker to the TV the surround sound was awesome. Will recommend this product.

I've had no problems with this wire at all. My only advice is, use proper wire strippers. I had to use my teeth on a quick installation job, (come on, admit it, we've all done it), and the insulation is just so elastic that it stretched more than I'm used to. Performance is flawless and the copper seems to be of good quality.

This wire is too light for speakers with posts, It just kept breaking every time I tightened the post, I'd recommend at least 16 gauge wire, Live and learn...

Husband was in need of speaker wire for our new surround sound speakers and we found this at our local Best Buy. It works excellent and was easy to tuck under carpet for more of a professional look. Would recommend to anyone.

Needed to hook up my old vintage stereo system to enjoy vinyl again. Needed speaker wire strong enough to run around the baseboards to conceal below carpet level. Strong enough to force down in the crack without breaking the insulation

Good brand for your audio needs. Just your basic copper speaker with. The gauge made it easy to use a staple gun to secure wires to the wall without having to go though the wire.

So this was the only gauge available for home theater and it’s way too small. Noth No wrong with the product otherwise. They need to carry 14 and 16 though.

You can get better/just as good wire for cheaper elsewhere. But I needed some right away and it does the job as expected!

I used this wire to connect a 5 channel receiver to the wall panel connecting the built-in speakers. The speakers sound great no hissing or popping.

This is speaker wire for connecting speakers to stuff. I mean really it is just speaker wire, it carries a small current to the speakers. When I used it to connect my speakers to my receiver, the speakers functioned exactly as expected. I could place these two speakers 25 feet away because I bought 50 feet of speaker wire. I apologize if you read this review and felt it was a waste of your time, but come on, it is speaker wire, it has one function, why would anyone research user reviews for speaker wire?

I recently installed an a/v system in my home. I used my recently purchased Insignia speaker wire and it worked well. It provided for good sound transmission so no worries there.
