iam no geek squad tech savy person ,but I got tired of my present power supply shutting down and restarting so I tried insignias 520 watt product I liked the large fan for getting rid of the heat , thought it would sound like a wind tunnel but its surprisingly quiet and after 5 connections I was up and running and very happy my baby was alive again

I had a Linux workstation hard fail and wanted to be able to get it back up right away. The power supply is always the culprit in these scenarios, so I looked online for one that fulfilled my requirements and was in-stock for same-day pickup. I chose this PS, installed it, and was back up in less than an hour.

My Dell XPS 430 power supply failed. This one was easy to install. There is a small gap in the back and it took a little work to route the wires through. Despite the small difference in physical design, it had all the connections necessary and works well in my 7 year old computer.

My computer was acting up and I asked my son, who is an engineer to check it. According to the symptoms, he said I needed a new power supply. We went to Best Buy and he picked one out that would fit my needs. He installed it and my computer has been great ever since.

Is your pc running a little warm, well maybe it's just having to work too hard. This powersupply was only $50 and very well worth every penny. Very inexpensive and an easy solution. Insignia makes a really good product. Honestly i've been pleasantly surprised.

My computer's power supply died, and I needed a unit that had all the connectors that my motherboard required. This one did. The instructions were useful, and the unit fit perfectly in my desktop case. I am very pleased with this product.

I needed a new power supply with enough wattage and was quiet. Was very quiet and its standard size fit my mid size HP pavilion tower nicely. Very happy with it. Just wish best buy had a 600 watt version to be on the safe side.

I had to upgrade my power supply for a 960 GTX as I didn't have the correct PCI power adapters. This was pretty easy to install took about 15 minutes or so and powered up no problems first try. Definitely a good budget power supply.

Plenty of power for most of todays needs. However it could use more PCIe connectors for more current graphics cards. For no additional cost I was able to buy a 600W PSU with more than enough connections for all of the computers needs

This power supply is an excellent replacement or upgrade for a failed factory power supply. With plenty of power and easy installation, you can hardly go wrong with this unit. The only drawback is if you are trying to replace the power supply in an older computer that requires more than three of the old style power plugs. I needed four so having to choose which component to give up was a slight disappointment. You can't beat the cost of this unit, however, as the cost to power ratio is hard to beat.

My old hand built XP machine died. I looked around town for a replacement power supply with the right connectors. This one filled the bill. The machine now works as good as ever and much quieter.

Had a power supply die on me on a computer and I purchased this, was a little worried it might not fit, but it went in just fine, and did exactly what it was supposed to do!

All I needed was a power supply that was easy to install, had the right holes in the right places, the right cables and connectors, and wasn't DOA. This was all those things, so 5 stars! :)

I generally stick with name brand power supplies that I know will last. I purchased the Insignia because of price this time and I have been well pleased with this purchase.
