Best buy on 55 inch TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like my new TV. Has 3 HDMI ports, optical port and 1 USB . Picture is everything that one would expect. I have an antenna so 4k would be a waste of money. I have a Roku hooked up and a computer.

Alright for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are on a very tight budget, then this tv will do. I used it with a fire stick and no cable. I watched different types of movies and shows with different apps. At first it was a fine picture, midrange. As the days went on and I kept watching it the actors faces started to turn red/pink. I changed the settings, but it was still noticeable. Then on an action scene you could tell the 60 motion rate was not enough. Also, there was a noticeable white line around the picture. I bought the tv to use in a bedroom, so I didn’t think I needed the bells and whistles, problem was just the quality. This is a mediocre tv and if you aren’t going to use it regularly or in a main room it should work. It is light and big.

30 percent failure rate in 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed 10 of these TV's in our church and 3 have failed in 6 months. One completely quit (no picture) and the other two have menu issues, where you can't use the menu options any more, it freezes and backs out of the menu screen on it's own. Will return the 3 tv's and "chime back in" if the others 7 TV's flake out in the next 6 months. I wouldn't buy any of the Insignia branded TV's for myself.

DO NOT BUY****
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this tv for less than 2-3 years and the picture went out. It’s out of warranty so there’s nothing to be done about it. I’ve NEVER had this happen to any tv I own. I would NOT recommend this company or ANY product they sell. When I called the customer service line the lady on the phone just stopped talking and didn’t answer any questions I had. After a few minutes I assumed she was not going to get back on the phone so I hung up. Spend he extra money go with a better brand and better tv that will ACTUALLY last.

lasted 1 year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv just over a year ago and now the top 1/4th of the screen has a weird faded band that makes it hard to see. It makes dark colors look grey...and it makes white colors also look grey. Soooo disappointed that it only lasted such a short period of time!

I have had tv just over 2 years and it went out on me. No picture what so ever. So buy if you want to buy another tv in two years.
