Open box

There are scratches at the top of the tv. I hope doesn't cause issues later. Other than that the tv seems to be working fine. It's used for gaming. For the price I paid I didnt expect it to have scratches on it. I'm not sure if I would purchase another open box tv again.

Got the insignia for living room. Annoying because you can't download VUDU. Completely different set up. Picture isn't as clear as my hisense. My 14 year old is happy with it. Delivery is easy. It came with free alexa but I already have Google one. I also didn't like that you have to program tv with Amazon account.

Lines on screen.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our new NS-55DF710NA21 intermittently has white vertical/horizontal lines or dashes around the outside of the picture on our cable HDMI. Also colored vertical lines intermittently sometimes down the middle areas. Cable company came out 3 times and replaced box, good signal, etc. Only issue is on this TV. Called Insignia and they said maybe they next software will fix this as they said this has been a problem with this particular Model. We have 2 other Insignia TVs and love them but this is irritating. Might be hard to see it from these pics as it wasn’t doing it bad but it will give you an idea. I wonder if others recent purchasers have the same issue? I put a note in the Q & A if you would like to respond.

You get what you pay for

The Fire TV interface is easy to use and most of the apps that should be there are there. Main issue I have is there are lines across the top of the TV. Initially I went and got a new 4K HDMI cable and thought that would fix it but it didn’t. The only solution is to power it off and turn it back on and see if it is fixed.

Horrible experience

Heart breaking

A horizontal line would start towards the top of the screen and then start to work its was down. The line would cause some sort of sync distortion. Very noticeable during live sporting events. It’s a real shame.

So disappointed

Out of no where, It would turn on with a clear and immediately go to colorful lines taking over the tv. Currently on hold with Best Buy for over an hour to schedule a technician. Disappointed..because I’ve had my 32 in for 3 years and it works just fine.

Good Buy

I am very pleased with this TV, especially at this price. Since this is my first experience in 4K UHD TV, I was of course very pleased with the clarity of the picture even in 1080p. It's upscaling of even conventional DVDs (480p) was impressive. HDR colors also impressive. This is the first TV I have ever purchased where I have not felt the need to calibrate. In the standard mode colors a vibrant without bleeding and flesh tones were well rendered. Sound: In my former TV, I needed a 2.0 soundbar for decent sound. I was again pleasantly surprise to find this sound as good enough to eliminate the sound bar. While certainly not home theater quality, it is more than adequate. DTS TruSurround equal performance from the soundbar. Smart TV: I was using Amazon Fire TV Stick on old set (even though it was a smart TV, for the larger variety of apps. The Fire TV function built into this set is very robust - better then the stick, which is a plus. The only downside is the remote is not capable of universal activities, so if you are like me and watch mostly cable, you need to have two remotes (actually 3, I also have a Blu Ray player connected). Overall, I would gladly suggest this set to anyone in the market for an affordable replacement (even a new TV).
