Don’t doubt a store brand!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a great deal and had some really good features, and not so good/ things that can be improved upon. Pros: For the price you are getting a great deal on a tv that has great picture, really good sound quality for built in speakers and I liked how easy it is to get started. If you are using Alexa, this works seamlessly with any sort of echo devices. What’s even better is we have a Ring camera system that I can just ask Alexa to show and she does. For the size too the weight is perfect for mounting, we recycled an old swivel mount that my in laws had an ancient Vizio on that was 70lbs and we were able to mount it. Nice touch of including it’s own mounting screws so I’m case you lost the ones with the old mount. Keeps up to date really well with all of the latest streaming apps. It is also super easy to pair Bluetooth headphones to. Cons: A few things I would like to change if I could is this is NOT Apple airplay compatible. The only way you can do screen mirroring is if you have an android device. I tried on my windows computer and it didn’t recognize it either. The USB port on the side is not entirely reliable, we have two of these TVs one works great the other we have govee backlights plugged into the port and seems like the power keeps getting interrupted. The remote does not have a dedicated input button so either can be changed with the Home Screen or with Alexa. Overall: was very happy with this purchase would recommend especially if you already have Alexa in your house. Just an FYI, all of the input ports are on the left rear side so take that into account when connecting your peripheral devices

Great tv for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The biggest tv I've ever had was 35 in. so this is a huge upgrade for me. I had to enter the wifi password but otherwise it pretty much set itself up. Although you will have to make adjustments to HDR, color, etc. The 4K UHD is outstanding. The colors are vibrant & the picture is clear. The Fire & Alexa technology is just icing on the cake. My friend spent over $1000 on a LG 4K & I must say, my tv looks better. Mine was on sale for only $319.99. What a deal! However, I do have one issue. Sometimes the black or dark colored backgrounds are not uniform, kinda pixelated. It also occurs when colors are faded across the screen (grey to black) and at every color fade point there will be rings or lines. This tv wasn't expensive but it wasn't cheap either. This is the only problem that I have but it's still unacceptable! Hopefully there's a way to smooth that out.

Bad remote Great Smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remote control stopped working a few months after purchase and after the BB return date, so I need to replace it (the reason for 4 stars and not 5). However, with that said everything else is awesome. Great picture quality, had no idea that 4K was that clear and crisp. Easy set up (confusing leg instructions) easy soundbar, gaming installation. Works fine with my paid apps. As this is my 1st smart TV I did research before I made the decision focused on capability/capacity as to brand.

Great Quality at a great price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an inexpensive replacement for my 5 year old Visio whose screen suddenly went black. This TV fit the bill. The set up was super easy. I already have an Amazon account so the transfer of information was painless. I didn't want to pay more than $350 for a 55" and that's exactly what I paid with tax included. The only other TV I considered was a Toshiba ($20 more), which had everything this one had and maybe Dolby? as well, but I have a sound bar which makes this TV fine for me. I am not a tech person and was looking for a well priced TV with good/above average picture & sound and ease of use. This TV delivers!

Great Value & Features
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can you say for a $329 55” TV? Picture is great, with lots of available customization. Fire TV integration works perfectly and WiFi connectivity and speed is terrific. Setup was quick and easy. Took less than 10 min for software to update. Not the thinnest but for the price you can’t go wrong.

Loved it while it lasted
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved this tv. The sound is good without a sound bar, it’s easy to set up, the picture was good. The only downside was it died after 3 years. I bought the 5 year warranty so I picked out the same brand for the replacement. Best Buy replaced it with an upgraded version.

Remote stopped working after 2 days
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture, sound, price, size are great The remote, not so much. Called 800# b/c store 1 hr away. After 1 hr between hold time & troubleshooting remote fixed, couple hours later center select button won’t work. I ran thru the same troubleshooting while on hold It will take 4-5 days for insignia to send new remote. Called store...all they did was tick me off. Called 800# they were helpful. I guess this is how they get ppl to but the extended wty because if the thing won’t work after 2 days, what will happen in 2 mths. I went out of my way to go to the store, but that didn’t seem to matter to the staff. ( they were great when I picked up the tv)

Amazing TV!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV!! Picture quality and sound are better than Samsung or LG. App store has all apps you can think of available. I have also transferred apps from my phone through the Apps2Fire app. Samsung TVs cut down on their HDMI ports. LG TVs lack apps on their Content Store. They dont even have the ESPN app available. This TV will blow you away!!! And for the money, its real a steal.

Insignia™ - 55" Class LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy my fire TV. This one actually came with a free Echo Dot. Alexa is equipped in the TV by remote. This TV was purchased to replace a Sharp Roku TV that stopped the working. Recently the remote stopped working but it was an easy fix. I googled how to reset it. This TV is easy to set up and mount. This is actually my 2nd fire TV in home. If I need to replace any other TV, I would probably opt for another fire TV.

Great price and product
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a smart tv and is 4K. The picture is great especially when watching ocean shows. I absolutely love it. Only issue is when the internet connection lags the picture does as well. It gets a bit hazy and smear like. It’s great and doesn’t really need a sound bar and doesn’t take up to much space. Also it took a few hits from a 3 yr old and still is great.

What's not to like!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had our new TV for less than a month. Thus far, we're loving it! My husband and I went from a 40" to a 55" screen. Our daughter set it up for us. She said it was easy to install. The picture is great! We no longer need to hook our computer up to our TV when we want to watch something on Netflix or Hulu. We like using Alexa too! The one tiny complaint we have, is the design of the remote control. It's a slippery bugger! Small potatoes really. :)

Picture perfect
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent for money. Pic and Sound quality is great. Setup was quick and easy. Basically plugged in and it virtually programmed itself. Of course, you set your security and user accounts but that was easy too. No window glare and even great pic outside. Yes, outside, cooking out, watching football and movie night! Covered area on the porch/deck so not in full sun but picture quality was still clear and great color.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV. Super clear. 4kUHD makes everything look so real it’s crazy. Good value for the price. Easy to operate and navigate. Good sound. We exclusively stream or use antenna broadcast and it’s a very cool bonus that there is a guide for live tv and you can pause and rewind a little bit as well. Definitely recommend this TV.

Insignia fire tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price a great tv. Great picture with great color. Plus it’s a fire tv which is the main reason I got it. This tv can be used through your Alexa as well. You want a solid tv for the price. I’d recommend this tv any day.

Great deal!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new tv for my den after a power surge took my Samsung and after trying to find the best deal at Best Buy for several weeks I finally settled on this tv. I got the tv on sale and it also included a free Alexa at the time. This was an awesome deal. I think the picture on the tv is very good. I use an LG sound bar I got from Best Buy also so I cannot really review the tv sound. The tv quality for the price really can’t be matched. The fire tv pairs very well with the Alexa and my favorite thing is just asking Alexa to search for what I am looking for on Netflix or prime instead of having to type it all out and search. My bedroom tv is a 50 inch insignia roku tv that I purchased from Best Buy in 2018 based on what the display picture looked like next to the other brands. It has been a great tv with excellent picture as well, so I honestly would recommend the Insignia brand to others.

Nice TV, Good Bargain
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a nice TV and a good bargain, but I have a couple of issues. First, I bought an Insignia soundbar and connected it with a Toslink optical audio cable. I was able to set up the TV remote to adjust both the power and the volume in the setup mode, but the remote won't work for soundbar power outside of setup. This means I need two remotes, which is the deal breaker for me. Second, the TV went on sale for $40 less than I paid two weeks after I bought it. BB will price match, but they don't automatically let you know, so I was lucky to have noticed. On the plus side, the picture is really good, and the Fire TV part works well (other than the soundbar issue). I'm not sorry I bought it.

Good TV, Fair Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am thus far satisfied with my Insignia television and the soundbar I purchased with it. The picture is clear and the soundbar has improved my audio fidelity. It's easy enough to use; I don't think that people experienced with "smart" televisions would have difficulty with it. It's my first, and I am grateful that I have a friend who walked me thru the set-up. Personally, I would have preferred Roku to Amazon Firestick, but I was willing to sacrifice it because of the price and, in particular, because it still afforded me the option of having a component input. That was one of the selling features for me—having that element of flexibility.

Just okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Tv is just okay. The first one failed within 3 months. I've had this replacement for a little over a month, it is fine thus far. The picture quality is good, once you configure the settings. Standard is awful. Amazon fire Tv portion is the best thing about this Tv bringing great integration of all my streaming apps to the home screen. That being said, hopefully in the future they will find a better tv platform. The Tv is good for the money, but if you can afford a better brand get that and buy a fire stick.
