I don't use the Amazon Fire platform but instead just use with a Google Chromecast and external speakers. Is perfect for what I need and even better that it was a deeply discounted holiday sale item.

I was just disappointed with my first one only lasting 4 years, but for the price and quality just went ahead with the same tv.

Great picture quality and adequate sound quality. Easy setup but does not have access to many popular applications like VUDU for example. Overall good product!
