If you turn the TV on and off with the power button, things are fine but if you tru to use the remote it wants to cycle on and off and if you use the folume button it does what it wants to do as far as volume. You can release the volume button and it will contine to increase or decrease. I have removed the battery right after pressing the buttons to rule out a sticking button.
