Other than 1 quirk, an excellent value. It has a good picture and the brightness is great compared to my old Samsung that finally died. It's not smart but that was my preference. The quirk it has is that the sound is slightly delayed, which can be maddening with another tv in the adjoining room on the same station produces an echo like condition between the two at some point between. Also, the picture and sound on this tv will fall out of sync at times and I must change the channel and change back to get them back in sync.

Love it, easy to set up. Picture is clear and colors are great. Especially surprised by the sound quality, it’s amazing. Really glad we tried out this brand of tv, will be buying more insignia’s.

No issues with this tv so far. It works great and looks decent. A good tv for the cost. If you’re looking for a good price and nothing super fancy added on, this is a great choice.

My daughter needed a larger TV for her exercise room, and I went shopping at Best Buy looking for a good price on a 'name brand' set, as I have typically not been impressed with the 'budget' names. But when I saw the picture on this one, I was amazed. I could absolutely not pass up the deal. I put it up on the wall the next day, hooked up her Roku, and it looked every bit as good as the one in the store. The sound was pretty fair too, for internal speakers on a thin flat screen.

Great picture, great price! Not a fan of the sound quality; I solved that though with a sound bar. It is not a smart TV but I have Dish and a wi-fi blue-ray player so no real issues there. It also only uses a 1/8" stereo plug for an external surround-sound system hook-up which does not work very well: you have to crank the volume way up for a decent volume level so an older surround sound system will probably not be useful.

BOUGHT THIS TELEVISION TO REPLACE AN OLD PLASMA IN THE KIDS PLAYROOM THAT PUT OFF TOO MUCH HEAT. THIS TV IS GREAT, SUPER PICTURE, LIGHTWEIGHT AND USES LITTLE POWER THUS CREATING NO HEAT

When I looked at the TVs on display, I could not tell a significant difference in picture quality until you get up to 3 or 4 times this price. I did have an issue with my first TV, the screen developed a vertical line across the TV, but it was replaced under warranty. I opted to get the protection plan on the replacement, but still turns out to be cheaper than name brand TVs. We have another Insignia that has lasted for years, so it's probably hit and miss. Overall, happy with the TV and love the built-in Roku, much better than other Smart TV experiences. As usual, the speakers suck, you'll probably want other speakers. Would buy again though.

I got mine on sale for $299 & couldn't be happier. Same quality & features as many mid-range-priced 1080p LED's, and unless comparing with a higher end elite model (that you could buy a shiny 4K for instead), you won't notice much, if any, difference worth mentioning. I expected to pay around $5-600 for a 55" replacement for my older 55" (which was a replacement for my beloved 65" that Sandy drowned) that crapped out on me, but am happily surprised with how satisfied I've been since purchasing this little beauty.

Great value, love the picture and simple set up. I got an extra one for a prize at a golf outing we were sponsoring. Both were great.

This the second insignia we purchased. The first one is about 7 years old and still works great. This new one has an awesome picture and easy to use. A good bargain TV for sure.

I needed a large screen for a public event so I hit the cyber Monday sale and got a great price. The TV had a great quality picture and was easy to set up for the slide show.

It is exactly what I wanted. I have a roku streaming stick so I didn't want a smart tv. The picture is as good as the 49" LG I was using that was a smart tv. I now own 2 Insignia brand tv's. this one and a 32" in the bedroom. I do believe this is a good brand/tv. A friend helped me get it out of the box and comented on how good and impressed with the picture he was. The main thing I wanted was a 1080P picture and the 3 HDMI ports. On the smart LG tv I had, I used an HDMI switch. Now I do not need it.

Wooooowwww!!! Great tv. Brought this for my dad. Need to upgrade my lil 50 in. Looks great eash to setup and it was automatic functional with the new optimum tv box.

Purchased this TV on sale. It has a great picture right out of the box. It was easy to set up and begin watching the same day.

This TV is hard to beat for the price. The screen and sound quality is excellent for how cheap the TV was. It was easy to setup and mount. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased the 55" Insignia tv for my daughter and family. The color is great, clear and clean. The screen size is also great.

This TV works GREAT! Picture and color looks great. Not expensive so you get a pretty good bang for only a few bucks. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have a 65 and it’s awesome the pictures clear as a bell I watch it on vivid and the color is just awesome so I bought my girlfriend The 55 Great Buy!!!
