This TV is a bargain. Great picture, for a small price. There are plenty of connections for players and receivers, as long as they are HDMI, and what isn't HDMI these days? The only issue is the sound quality. A little hard to hear at lower volumes, but turn it up and it makes some noise. We are using ours in the game room, and the video games are bigger and brighter than ever before.

Needed a large screen for a conference room that seats 20. Even from the farthest point the spreadsheets were clear. Best part was picked up in the evening after buying online a couple of hours earlier. It was an open box and the remote, batteries and screws were all in there. Had it setup in 15 mins.

These TV'S are a grate product at a very good price. The picture quality is better than most TV's costing two or three times the price.I have purchased three of these so far, all re working fine,my oldest one is about eight years old and when people see it they can't beleive how good the picture is.If your looking for a good TV at a great price this is it.

It doesn’t cost $2000, so don’t expect the bells an whistles. But if you just want a TV and don’t care if it’s “smart”, this is hard to beat. You may want to tweak the color, but the controls are straight forward and are easy to locate. Broadcast HDTV is 1080p, so this works well. Old shows done in 480p look a little blurry at this size. The sound is adequate.

Not smart but a smart buy 55 inch for 279.00 it is in my man cave next to Sony 4K 65 Samsung 60 first gen 6 series just as good . Got the Polk Audio sound bar w sub 129.99 good to go ready for football

I do not have any 4k playback devices so did not want to spend so much more on a 4k TV. Replacing a Samsung 50 inch 1080p. There was a time when I thought I heard Insignia came out of a Samsung factory. Anyway, picture on this set is great. Better than what I had. Way better than I need and over $100 less than comparable 4k TVs.

I was in the market for a bigger tv and really liked my old Insignia so I decided to stick with the brand and purchase the 55". I wasn't interested in a smart TV and it was well within my budget. With the money I saved I bought a small Toshiba sound bar to compensate for the subpar speakers. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.
