Bought this as my first smart TV, figured on board amazon fire tv would be worthwhile. Pros: Good picture and sound quality. Lots of options to fiddle with. Having all features built into the amazon thing is kind of neat. There is even a tv guide for antenna broadcast tv. You can even connect blue tooth headphones to the tv via options. Cons: Having everything built into the amazon system means that sometimes you can run into lag / stuttering issues when trying to do basic things. On one occasion I had to "reboot" my tv because it was acting strange. The remote control is kind of small for a tv, its just a fire stick tv remote with a few more buttons. Afraid I might lose it. I love I can connect blue tooth headphones, but it messes up sometimes, randomly disconnects or has laggy sound.

We got this TV for right around $200 and it has a ton of great features. Easy to use the TV and is the smart TV. Hook up to the wifi was effortless.

I purchased this TV during a promotion that Amazon was running with Best Buy. You buy the TV for $299 (already a smoking deal), and you get a free Amazon echo dot device included. As if the TV wasn't already a good enough deal, you get a free Amazon echo dot device to add to one of your rooms. I have owned many TVs from the CRT era, the plasma era, and throughout the LCD era. It has been an interesting transition from the LCD TV to the LED LCD TV, the 3D TVs, and now the craze with the 4K TVs. There is usually about four to five classes of LED TVs and then there's usually two to three classes of OLED TVs. You would think this TV would be in the higher level of the standard class LED TVs. The quality, when compared to the price point is just unbeatable. You pair that with an amazing Smart TV system known as the Fire TV edition from Amazon, and you have one incredible value package that cannot be beat by anyone else at the moment. Currently there are two offerings for Fire TV edition from Best Buy. You can have the Insignia (Best Buy house brand) in multiple sizes and resolutions, or you can take the Toshiba TVs with the same selections. I have owned both and both are good in my opinion. What you are mainly getting with these TVs is value and content. You're getting a lot of TV, and you're getting a lot of smart TV for the money. The voice enabled remote control is a feature normally found on much higher-end TV's. The fact that you can also control your smart home with the built-in Alexa is downright crazy for the price. take advantage of the promotion going on right now and go out and get this TV and whatever size suits the empty room you're trying to upgrade or put a TV in. Don't hesitate any further, just go by this TV right now.

I just got tv as a placement from a older 1080 led. It's a nice tv with the same smart pictures of the other one. This TV has a lower mounting then my other so it's angled much higher on the wall mount in my previous one. It connected fast to everything I previously had. The only complaint I had was the actual motion of the TV it look fake like a soap opera I had to go to the TV settings and change it. I believe it was a motion control settings in the advanced settings. it was preset to smooth that's what made the TV looked so traumatic like a soap opera I just turned off the effect and it look perfect. Hopefully that helps others.

If you don’t need all the bells and whistles of high end 4K TVs, are on a budget, and want fire tv built into the TV, then this is the TV to get. The picture quality is pretty good, if you calibrate the picture settings, and the fire tv is very quick and responsive. The TV is very lightweight and very easy to set up, although it feels a little flimsy, but at this price it is expected.

The picture quality on this TV is great. Out of the box it was easy to setup. The speakers on the TV are also very good - not too loud but they are defiantly better then other TVs speakers. I like how I can use my phone to control the TV since it has Fire TV. The Fire TV runs very fast. The VESA holes are on the bottom of the TV - instead of being centered on the back of the TV.

For the price of $250 it truly is a great buy, 5 stars on price and the apps and ease of use, even the volume is on the one remote that controls the apps as well .. picture needs tweaking in settings for sure. It's no OLED tv but it's great picture, more than I expected from insignia. Any less would not be satisfying but the TV seems to be just enough to enjoy.

Very reasonable price for a 55 inch tv. Excellent picture quality and sound. Some models need a sound- bar, this model does not, every channel has good sound quality. For the price it's a good buy...hopefully it will last longer then the last best buy tv I purchased, tv screen went black exactly 2 years after purchase.

Got the 55in version of this tv. Love that it is an Amazon prime tv. I can watch everything thru prime, Netflix, PS Vue all wirelessly. The picture is great, but it also depends on your source broadcast, not always 4k from what I can tell. Very easy set up, lightweight, good sound, and really great price. Worth checking out

This TV was a good one until it just started turning off by itself. It would come on and not even get past the star screen and shut off and restart. I did all troubleshooting possible and it did reset to factory specifications and before I could even start the setup process boom it restarted itself again. I called bestbuy and they said the board is probably bad and that it would cost $125 for parts and $200-$300 for labor!! Wow!! I said that's more than I paid for the TV and I could buy a new one for that! So I went and spent a little more money and got a Samsung that doesn't have Fire TV because I don't trust Fire TV's now.

Wife and I decided to be spontaneous and start shopping for a new tv. After researching and comparing, we went with this Insignia. We love the built in Fire by Amazon, makes for less wires and accessories to deal with. Love the 4K, as we have never had a tv in 4K. Picture and sound are amazing. For the price you get a pretty nice tv.

1- Good Price compared to what you get. 2- Very smart TV (not just couple of Apps) you have a full android OS the Firestick is build in. 3- Great Sound quality i was surprised !!! DTS 4-Easy to setup and install. Only one Cons: Just 4GB internal memory which is ok i would get *GB like Sony 4k tvs but its ok

I had to replace an outdoor tv and was reading reviews. I'm not a fan of over paying for an outdoor tv when most of mine have lasted for 8 years or more. I came across this tv, read the reviews, and gave it a shot. Easy to set up, great picture, even better price!

This TV is so easy to setup and use it surprised me? The color is great and the sound is really good! The remote is extremely easy to use to go from over the air TV to cable TV to internet and youtube! Even beginners with no experience can be up adn running in less than 1 hour!

I'm really enjoying this tv after learning how to set it up from Insignia customer service. Here are several useful things I learned: 1) I thought I was stuck with having to always start out from the Amazon home screen. Suffice it to say there is a "last input" setting in the tv settings that solves the problem. So if you use a Roku input last, when you turn the TV back on it will go right to the Roku input. 2. Sound bar (connected by optical) volume not controlled by alexa remote. Able to control TV speakers only by alexa remote. Then I connected a Logitech 623 speaker by analog and I could control its volume by the alexa remote, and also with my Roku remote, which also hadn't controlled the volume on the Soundbar. Insignia didn't know why my Soundbar didn't work fully with the alexa and Roku enhanced remotes. I can control the volume using the Soundbar remote. I'm satisfied with my purchase, but I wouldn't be if I only had my sound bar for a speaker.

This tv was purchased for an office setting. We've been very happy with it. The picture looks nice and the Fire TV feature is easy to use and very convenient. The price was also great! Will definitely buy again for our next office location.

Had to replace my 50in thanks to my 12y/o... AGAIN! This is my 2nd Insignia and it does not disappoint. Great picture, and the FireTV addition is quite convenient. Insignia closely compares to some of the big brand names for a fraction of the cost! No complaints from me.

Great low price, so worth the money. Beautiful picture, easy install and a wiz to operate. Was sceptical after others said had problems, so glad I gave this brand a chance. Price was so great, I purchased 2. I just pray they last a long, long time. Worth my time

Great picture, easy to use. Works perfectly with the Amazon Dot. Great TV for someone who is not technologically savvy. Just tell the Dot to change the input, and it does. (You have to buy the Amazon Dot separately.) The picture is beautiful. It’s perfect for my needs.
