I love that fire tv is built in. It’s much better than the Firestick itself. One of my favorites is being able to rewind, pause and fast forward live tv without cable! Great picture it’s not a low quality 4K tv. And to top it all off, the tv is affordable!

This is our third Insignia TV and all have given us a great experience. This unit is in our living room, moving the 50" to the bedroom. I like the FireTV version better than the ROKU that we have with the 50". Very satisfied with color, sound, and ease of set up and use of features. The only feature we don't like is not being able to have Bluetooth and TV audio at the same time like with the ROKU model. Wife has hearing issues so likes headphones, but then I can't hear because the TV audio is then silenced. Don't bother with all the devices that say you can, because you can't per techs and our experience. TV circuitry was not designed to do both. Would be nice if this were just a software update, but don't think so. Purchase the warranty! Did with this and the 50". Just took the 50" in for a backlight failure. Just paid for itself.

I've had this TV for about 2 years and it is great! Every once in a while I need to reset the tv, but it feels more like the apps needing this than the TV itself. Great picture, every app available, very easy to use. Honestly have 3 of these in the house (different sizes) and will probably continue to buy these in the future. One thing I don't love is the remote, sometimes inputs are delayed a bit but it doesn't bother me at all. I would also definitely recommend a sound bar or something to go along with it - I still gave it 5 stars despite these things!

I got this for my sister-in-law and she’s happy as a clam. Built-in Alexa and Fire TV software, and connected the television with a nice pair of Edifier bookshelf speakers. Great sound, good enough picture, Alexa integration. Perfect for her and a Chicago high-rise apartment with easy user experience and minimal fuss. From unpacking, setting up the TV legs, setting it on her media stand, connecting the optical cord to the speakers, and her logging in to set up the tv was about 15 minutes total. Can’t beat it. Best Buy reduced the cost on this item by $30 a few days after I ordered it, and was very kind in providing me a price match and refunding me the difference. Great customer service, thank you!

I've had this over a year now, and the video and sound quality is definitely comparable to higher priced TVs. The only reason I could not give this TV 5 stars is because of the fire remote, and this is a universal problem with the Amazon Remotes, is that they become useless in a very short amount of time. I think ours lasted 4 months about a month longer than our previous fire stick. But you can use your phone so that kind of makes up for it, but sometimes it's nice to be able to just use the remote

This unit (Insignia model NS-55DF710NA19) comes with the proper certificates to allow streaming all of the big name services (Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.) at full resolution; up to 4K (which is much better than most of the Android Boxes out there...except for the NVidia Shield units). Keep this in mind if you are considering a 4K TV and Android Box combination. This, or a 4K TV with the Fire TV Stick 4K, are the ONLY ways to get 4K streaming of Prime Video on a TV (OK, except for using the TV as a monitor and feeding it with a computer). Not even the NVidia boxes support 4K Prime Video. You can, of course, still use this TV with an A-Box if desired (we use one so that we can take advantage of a VPN for some services while leaving those built in to the TV "unprotected"). The picture is quite good and the Alexa functionality is a big plus, especially if you have other Alexa devices (we have multiple and we paired one of our Echo Dots to this TV so we can control it just by calling on Alexa from anywhere in the room). The user interface/menu system is a bit dorky but not bad once you get used to it. The sound from the built-in speakers is actually not bad and has plenty of undistorted volume. Of course, connecting to a nice surround sound system is always the best way to go, but if your not an audiophile, the built-in sound is fully adequate for plan ol' TV. Though, not surprisingly, pretty wimpy in the bass...so it falls short on giving a full experience in movies (there's that surround-sound system advantage again :) ) In all, I would highly recommend this TV, especially for the full resolution certificates and built-in Alexa at this price. Do a search for "FIRESTICK SETTINGS YOU SHOULD TURN OFF NOW", you'll be glad you did (and he's fun to listen to). Cheers and Happy New Year!

I've had this tv for about a month now. The sound level is rather inconsistent. There are times where level 30 is rather quiet then out of nowhere, without changing what I'm watching or pressing any buttons it will get louder then again, at some point get quieter. Also this morning the remote stopped working entirely except for the power button. It turns out if you press a combination of keys you can reset it and after doing that it works fine again. The picture is EXCELLENT so I would just recommend a sound bar/system and it's a great buy!

This 4K TV was a steal at its price of $200 on sale. I was able to hang it as it is VESA certified. It is sharp and has good colors depending on the profile you choose in accordance to the content you are viewing. One fo the best feature of this TV is the inclusion fo the FireTV OS. It can be slow but it is good enough for streaming. It is also one of the fastest TVs to boot up when turning on from cold boot. It’s remote is also good. It is lightweight and has clickable buttons. Great deal for gaming and watching movies and shows!

I got this on a deal of the day special for $250. And it's the best $250 TV ever, very good picture (after calibrating it). the sound is OK for a TV. The interface is awesome and 4K Roku TV for $250, come on how can you beat that. The picture is better than TVs that are twice the price.

I bought this TV for my 80 yr old Dad. The TV has a very good picture quality. Colors and resolution exceed what Dad can appreciate. But I wouldn't mind putting this in my bedroom or living room at all. The clincher for purchasing this house-brand TV over other name brands is really the integrated FireTV interface. The remote is much simpler than traditional smart tv remotes, with only a dozen buttons. With most modern TV remotes having 30-50 buttons on them, this was a no-brainer for Dad. The app interface that comes up initially is pretty simple to navigate, and for those familiar with TV apps, its downright awesome. Dad still gets confused, but we are getting there. He can at least see the buttons on the remote, and figure out how to navigate around. One thing that is NOT very intuitive is accessing different inputs. I would like to see either a button on the remote or an Input menu option. You have to go to settings, then navigate to the end menu (can't remember the option) to get to a different input. Its fine once you know where to find it. Dad won't be able to. All in all I would give the TV an A- grade. Very decent picture quality, love the interface and remote, old man struggles to change to the DVD player, then back to TV. Young people? Great TV, very affordable.

I broke the screen on my Samsung tv and devastated because I had to “downgrade” to an insignia.... After purchasing this tv I was absolutely impressed with the quality, clarity, and ease of use. The sound isn’t too shabby either. The low price was also a huge plus. Using Alexa on the tv makes it so much easier to navigate. However, I do wish I could cast my iPhone to the tv..not sure if it’s a tv problem or iPhone problem. All in all, I would definitely purchase another one of these TVs.
