Bad tv no good

The switch from online to over the air stations is simple. The one thing I would change is adding numbers to the remote control to make over the air channel changing easier . As it is, you can use the up down button to jump channel by channel which can take a bit if you're moving from say ch 3 to ch 54. Or you can pull up the guide and scroll to your desired channel. Not that big of a deal but something I'd like to streamline. But I really appreciate the TV being made to manage over the air stations since I'm a cord cutter. Nice tv. Recommend!

Durability and quality for cheap

The brand name may not be samsung or lg, but these insignias stand the test of time. Ive had my mom have to replace here samsung twice n my insignia still going strong. These insignias take a beating. The kids are always poking the display, the remote is dropped everyday, and it doesn't seem to care, it just keeps on working. The picture quality is good. I make commercials for a living, so this is important to me. For a 1080 display its bright and sharp and there isnt much stopping you from thinking its 4k. The bevels on this tv are also slim and secy btw. Yes you can find extremely thin bevels, but these are pretty unintrusive. I'll continue buying Insignia tvs because they simply work, and are not overpriced.

4 years old, still works amazing.

Great TV

I was on a budget and decided for this basic HDTv because I didn't want a smart tv with all those apps. Great purchase plus got the Geek squad 2 year protection just to be safe.

Always messing with settings to find a good picture. Use it with dish network maybe that’s the problem Netflix looks good at 1080p. But dish only has 720p. Or 1080i. Color is not really that good. Picture seems to have a grey tint. My other insignia tv looks great

Short term life sapn

At 2.5 years I can't stand it anymore and need to replace the unit. It seems to be a regular problem with this model from is available to read online. Honestly, wait for a sale on a comparable TV from a name brand.
