Didn't really work for 550 sq. ft.

I tried to put this unit in my insulated garage and it did nothing. The AC does not stay on all the time. It would be unbearably hot when the AC compressor is not on. This unit will at most cool about 200 sq. ft.

This was definitely a used unit and that was resold as new. What else can you expect from Insignia and Best Buy? nothing but short cuts which makes the brand unreliable. Not sure if a defective unit but it is really loud to the point that you cannot sleep with this thing running on AC or dry in the same room.
