I love this machine. My room is not fully insulated and has minor air leakage (it's an old home) but the air cools considerably and quickly, and maintains a cool temp with AC and fan working interchangeably. The hose fits perfectly on the jalousie window where hot air escapes. No hot air returns to my room. The water condenses less than a half cup for the month I used it (surprising as I live in tropical, humid weather). No drain hose needed; I just released the rubber in the back and drained the water into a cup. I bought this on sale on a great deal. I'm happy with the product and would still buy this if it wasn't on sale.

I like how the AC is portable and it cools the room quick.

This is a good portable AC but it is a bit big. We had got it because we thought that our AC has broke but after taking a closer look it was not broken so we returned it. We do own same AC unit that’s for 350 square feet and it’s awesome. We use that one in our room to cool it down before going to bed instead of running the whole house AC

This air conditioner is very effective in the summertime. Gets rid of heat and humidity very quickly. It is quite loud, though. Overall fantastic value for the price.

This unit is an enhancer to a room that faces directly to the afternoon sun. Is set low speed and turned off often. Great remote.

This unit is great! It blows really cold air and isn’t too loud. It also didn’t break my back moving it either! Would definitely buy another one of these.

I live in a small condo. The unit cools about 400 square feet area. My living room TV viewing area. But it does not reach the sleep rooms on the other end. The unit, however, is portable. It is worthwhile during those days when a little cool relaxing is needed.

bought this to cool down the garage-workshop keeps the temp of the uninsulated 20x20 space around 80 F on 95+ days, when combined with a fan. make to buy a drain hose and use at least a 12 gauge chord if you need an extension

Purchased this for a quick fix at the office when the A/C went out. I now use it in my camper. Cools better/quicker than the two units mounted inside (roughly 360sq. ft.) My biggest concern was the condensation drain in the back which has a reservoir to be drained manually when it fills up. More specifically, my concern was the frequency of it filling up and shutting off. It has run 5 days a week in 95 degree weather for a month and still hasn't required being drained.

Was looking for a portable AC that would not be bulky but efficient and this one was perfect for my apartment.

The piece packs a ton of capacity to ensure that everything stays cool and dry. The only thing I wished was that it has a quieter option or even a lower intensity option to only regulate the air around me.

Got this for Hurricane season. Have not used it for any length of time other than the initial 15-minute test. The unit seemed to cool fast. Noise level as expected for portable ac unit. Easy to set up and move around.

This portable AC unit funtions as intended. Basic funtionality but that's all I really needed. A bit noisy but if cooling down your room/apt is your only concern, I highly recommend this unit. The 12,000 btu unit does a good job at cooling down my 1 bedroom apt within about 30 mins after turning it on; it's been a lifesaver this summer.

Love all the features, especially the louvers that you can set on auto to rotate up and down for airflow. It's easy to clean the filters and they are on each side and the back so it takes more air in. Another thing is it does not take up a lot of window space. The only thing we would change is to have an insert on each side of the window slide that would fit snug in both window groves.

It's a good portable AC if it's on sale. It has a remote plus it tells you the current room temperature when it's not on. A little too big but it does cover a good amount of space.

A little loud but cools down the room quick. We can sleep with it on
