Also there are at times just strange occurrences with the UI and how it functions. It's a lot of little things that add up to annoy you about this TV.

To resolve the remote control issue, please follow these steps from Amazon Fire TV support:
1. **Unplug your Fire TV** from the power supply and HDMI input, then wait 60 seconds.
2. **Press and hold the Left button, Menu button, and Back button** on your remote at the same time. Hold them for 12 seconds.
3. **Release the buttons** and wait 5 seconds.
4. **Remove the batteries** from your remote.
5. **Plug in your Fire TV** and wait until you see the screen that says the remote can't be detected.
6. **Put the batteries back in your remote**.
7. **Press the Home button**. When the LED indicator blinks blue, your remote is paired successfully. If it doesn't pair, press the Home button for 10 seconds.

Disappointed

After a couple hours of use on day one, all 3 HDMI ports lost audio. The plus side is that Best Buy supports their customers and the exchange process was mostly painless. Unfortunately this particular model was not immediately available for exchange but we settled for the 50” model which was available. Sadly the 50” cost more then the 55” because the 55” was on sale…

Bad Pixelation

For a bit now, we've noticed a strange effect where the pixels seem to ripple across the screen. It gets worse whenever there's dark scenes (for example, we're watching Yellowjackets). The frame rate loss is pretty intense. It's only getting worse and has reached the point where we're hoping to return it for an entirely new TV.

2 broken tvs

The picture was good but the speakers did not produce sound and did not work. Best Buy scheduled a date to pick up the tv and deliver a new one. Best Buy delivered the new tv and when I plugged it in the screen was cracked and broken. I took this as a sign and returned the tv and received a refund.

Loses Wi-Fi connection

Worked great first few weeks but not have to reboot about every other time using because it keeps losing Wi-Fi connection. Nothing else in house loses connection.
