    This TV has been amazing up until about a week ago, the sound will randomly cut out and if u try to adjust volume to see if that is what is wrong it will say it’s at 100 even if u only has it set to 10 but yet still no sound I can hit mute and unmute still nothing. I have to turn the tv off for a good 15minutes before sound will come back. And it only happened once but then so far today it’s happened twice.

      This sound issue can be fixed via FW update and adjusting the sound settings.

      Here are the steps:

      First part: Update software to latest version.
      Step 1: Connect WiFi, go to main menu, select "Settings".
      Step 2: Select Device & Software.
      Step 3: Select "About".
      Step 4: Select Downloading Update.
      Step 5: Install the software, TV shows software version.

      Second part: Sound setting after software update:
      Step 6: Return to main menu, select Settings.
      Step 7: Select "Display & Sounds".
      Step 8: Select "Audio Output".
      Step 9: TV Speaker select ON.

      When you finish, the sound should be recovered. BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

    The image on the TV from the 4K is really clear and the fire TV edition is very convenient for streaming. Great purchase !

    I bought this during black Friday 2019 and it's been a great tv but there are some minor things that annoy me during my daily use other than that it is great!

    First problem is the audio issue everyone is experiencing. The headphone jack on the back is defective and thinks something is plugged in when there just isn't. Jam a headphone set in there and pull it back out. This will fix it for a few days. There is no permanent fix. Next up is the software bugs. However, the audio is bad in general. Highs are super high and lows cannot be heard. Never seen a Modern TV with that issue. On top of that, there are software bugs. Sometimes the volume doesn't react to be raised or lowered. You'll have to restart the TV. Visual bugs occur too. Random green splotches flash in very dark scenes. Random issues all the time. This TV isn't available anymore for a reason. Awful deal even at the Black Friday price. If they bring it back, DO NOT BUY IT. I don't think I'll ever buy an Insignia product because my Toshiba with the same software is excellent.

    Great product but with 1 problem. I bought 2 and both had the audio problem, it tends to go off. Solution is to plug in a jackpot and disconnect it.

    I love Insignia and have never had a problem with their televisions for the past 10yrs, however I bought the 58" Fire TV model 2 weeks ago and the sound goes out intermittently and at times for several minutes at a time. Geek Squad coming this week and hopefully they'll resolve this issue. Can't recommend at this time!

    Excellent TV. The internal Firestick streams in 4K and the picture is very detailed. Very happy with the purchase.
