Posted .This sound issue can be fixed via FW update and adjusting the sound settings.
Here are the steps:
First part: Update software to latest version.
Step 1: Connect WiFi, go to main menu, select "Settings".
Step 2: Select Device & Software.
Step 3: Select "About".
Step 4: Select Downloading Update.
Step 5: Install the software, TV shows software version.
Second part: Sound setting after software update:
Step 6: Return to main menu, select Settings.
Step 7: Select "Display & Sounds".
Step 8: Select "Audio Output".
Step 9: TV Speaker select ON.
When you finish, the sound should be recovered.

I disagree, the remote is good. its very similar to Alexa remote in terms of quality. TV is good, I mostly used Netflix, Youtube and Alexa. Was impressed to see Alexa recognize youtube searches. One complaint or atleast, I have not yet figured out how to do it is, how to skip ads in app like YouTube using your remote. when the screen displays "skip ad" No complaints about TV.

2 month old and the sound went out

The price was too good to pass up and now I know why the price was too good. The sound on our tv just stopped working. The TV is not even 3 month old yet. We have a picture but no sound. Go to the settings and it says the speakers are turned off. The problem is it won't let me turn them back on. I power cycled the tv and still did'nt fix it. I even tried factory resetting the TV and still no sound. I have contacted support but all they will do is send out a technician to look at it. I shouldn't have to wait for a technician to come look at my 2 month old TV. I want a new TV not a technician. I will update this review once they send the technician out. If they replace my TV I will give it a 4 star if not it will stay a 1 star.
