And usually when first turned on. I would have to belive it or not flick the aux insert/hole or press on to it for it to produce sound. But overall I love my TV. Just hate waking up to it all the time to fix the sound issue. Makes me think I might not last to long. But will see?

So I tried to get an exchange or another one ordered but they said they weren’t making anymore. So I ended up having to get a smaller model(50). It is what it is though but I was able to get a good deal of it.

Terrible TV and terrible Geek Squad Repair

I bought this tv as a Black Friday deal. The problems began by February. The volume would be on but I couldn’t hear anything. A Geek Squad Rep finally repaired the sound board and the power button stopped working after the Geek Squad rep replaced the sound board. The power button that stopped working could not be replaced according to the Geek Squad Rep. Despite the original problem worsening and having a non functioning television after the failed repair I was only offered the price of the television and a prorated Geek Squad repair. The customer service has been terrible. Beware: Your tv can have more problems when the Geek Squad rep completes the “repair” and you will still only get the price. This has been a bad overall experience

Posted .This sound issue can be fixed via FW update and adjusting the sound settings.
Here are the steps:
First part: Update software to latest version.
Step 1: Connect WiFi, go to main menu, select "Settings".
Step 2: Select Device & Software.
Step 3: Select "About".
Step 4: Select Downloading Update.
Step 5: Install the software, TV shows software version.
Second part: Sound setting after software update:
Step 6: Return to main menu, select Settings.
Step 7: Select "Display & Sounds".
Step 8: Select "Audio Output".
Step 9: TV Speaker select ON.
When you finish, the sound should be recovered.
