I've only had it set up for 2 weeks so I can't comment on how long it will last but at 200 it was worth the risk. So far its decent picture and sound. Easy set up.

Great 4K smart TV

Couldn't be happier. The "fire" interface is easy and works great. The picture is clear. No problems with it at all. Makes searching for shows and movies across all my streaming apps very easy especially with the Alexa voice feature. My only complaint is with the OS and is very minor. With my firestick, I could mirror my phone onto the TV, but with "fire" built into the TV, it doesn't support this fun feature.

Speakers suck so I’m using a sound bar. Builtin fire tv capability works great! Got this on Black Friday for $200

Acceptable picture quality, poor HDR

As a budget TV it had decent picture quality, but really lacked with the HDR. The colors never stood out and the blacks never achieved inkiness. I was impressed with the amout of picture adjustments found and the fire tv feature was easy to use. Ultimately returned because the optical output was defective and neither it nor the headphone jack would work through a tested soundbar.

Hung it on a wall and hooked up to a 4K streaming device. Netflix 4K shows looks amazing and football looks amazing. For the price you really can’t go wrong. I’ve owned several Insignia TVs over the years and only had an issue with one of the smaller ones. This was like a decade ago. It was within the year warranty, so I was able to swap it out at the store. It was painless. I can recommend this brand and the quality.

Also BestBuy actually had tons of them! you can not beat the spec for the price, it was slim enough to mount on the wall, sleek design for the cost, Easy set up, interesting size at 58 inches however it was the PERFECT size for my situation. VERY VERY Happy and thank you BestBuy for having more than just 5 on black friday (they must have had 70-75 when I showed up 1 hour before arriving and got in line. :)

Update for sound going in and out!

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The picture is really good and the sound as well! 58" is a good size for a mid/large sized room enough hdmi ports and Bluetooth to connect to a larger speaker or wireless headphones. I use it with a small speaker on a night stand so its not too loud. Integrated fire TV is awesome for popular streaming services! Did have issues with the sound for a while which became a deal breaker, but a new update came out that has hopefully fixed the problem permanently. So if you bought one and want to return it, update it asap!!

sound cuts out and random

You have to put pressure on the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the back of the tv for it to come back on, really who puts a 3.5 mm headphone jack on a 58-inch tv ... ? Contacted CS and they told me it was a KNOWN issue with that model and they would fix it, so that is at least a plus. Just waiting for the pandemic to subside so I can get GeekSquad out to repair it. C.S. refused to do anything for me other than tell me to wait it out and get up every 15-30 minutes to get the sound to come back on. Being stuck without a working TV for a KNOWN issue when my whole family is stuck at home and the TV is only 5 months old is unacceptable in my book. This is a BestBuy brand as well! I would say to save yourself the hassle and buy a name brand TV. I know I will next time and probably not from Bestbuy either. Amazon has them cheaper ;)

Since it's a fire TV, there are a few apps that it doesn't support (like vudu), but thankfully, through movies anywhere, you can still watch your collection from the nonsupported apps through this. It also supports plenty of features that normally won't be in a tv of this price range (like direct output to a bluetooth device, which you can't do through a roku tv, unless you have their speakers too)

Great Picture, Sound Issues

Beautiful picture and when playing 4K videos it is stunning. However, a couple months in the audio would shut off on the TV. I was running the TV speakers and not a soundbar or other audio speakers. I would reset the TV frequently but the issue persisted. Then it was recommended to plug in headphones to the headphone jack and pull it out. That worked! And have not had an issue since. Even with the frustrating issue, you can't beat the $200 black Friday deal on this TV.

Disappointed

Picture was great. Alexa capability is a plus. Worked perfect for about the first two weeks, but then the volume started going in and out. Sometimes it would last a few minutes, sometimes a few hours. Returned it for a new one so I'm going to try again, hopefully all is well but we shall see.

Fire TV build in is fine, but TV is missing usual customization options. Had a problem watching 4K movies - audio wouldn't work because 4K default audio format is Dolby digital plus and my older Denon receiver only had regular Dolby digital. Had to go to Fire TV settings and change audio from auto to dolby digital. Would be nice if Fire TV would auto load all apps already loaded in my other Fire TVs connected to same amazon account.

Man, I was wrong! This tv is great, and the picture is excellent. My only complaint is that the remote has issues, it will just unpair with the tv sporadically- but it only takes a sec to pair them up again. All in all, this was a great buy!

Solid Smart TV

For the price it is a great deal. It does have an occasional hiccup that forces me to restart (apps won't load or the menus aren't responsive to the remote, etc.) and then it's good again. I'm chalking that up to the fact that it runs so much software. It's my first smart TV so I don't have a lot to compare to. But again, for the price it's great.
