    Quality picture quality. It was good for a couple of months, but then started having issues. It will stop automatically, and/or audio will go out. I don't know what to do about it since it can't be returned anymore.

      This sound issue can be fixed via FW update and adjusting the sound settings.

      Here are the steps:

      First part: Update software to latest version.
      Step 1: Connect WiFi, go to main menu, select "Settings".
      Step 2: Select Device & Software.
      Step 3: Select "About".
      Step 4: Select Downloading Update.
      Step 5: Install the software, TV shows software version.

      Second part: Sound setting after software update:
      Step 6: Return to main menu, select Settings.
      Step 7: Select "Display & Sounds".
      Step 8: Select "Audio Output".
      Step 9: TV Speaker select ON.

      When you finish, the sound should be recovered. BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

    Sound issues

    I got this TV the end of November, it's now the beginning of May, I had to return it once already because the screen would glitch, Best Buy replaced it but now the second TV has sound issues that is apparently common with this TV, where the sound goes out randomly. I should have reported this issue months ago but haven't used the TV much to realize how bad it is. I emailed the "contact us" at Best Buy and am waiting to see how they will make this right. I've never had an issue with a TV in my entire life until now. I have an insignia LCD TV in my bedroom that's probably 10+ years old and another insignia 48" that's about 5 years old, both have never had a single problem. They really went downhill with this one.

      We are sorry to hear about the speaker/audio problem you note.
      To help with this, please try changing this setting on the TV: press the Home button on your remote control and select the Settings menu. Then navigate to the Display & Sounds menu followed by the Audio Output and TV Speakers menu. At the TV Speakers menu change the Setting to On.

    Audio Sync Issues

    The amazon prime account linking is extremely vulnerable to accidental purchases. Even if you don’t have prime the amazon interface will automatically subscribe you to prime with just two clicks. Recent software updates plague the tv with audio sync issues. Hulu, Netflix, prime video, YouTube, and all apps have audio video lag. Sometimes the tv speakers will disable themselves for no reason and all tv audio will be gone for an indeterminate amount of time. The color, brightness, and contrast are nearly impossible to set correctly. What looks good on one app will look too dark or washed out on other apps or inputs. This tv was big and cheap, subsidized by amazon’s self placed ads and sneaky interface.
