A-list Black Friday TV special
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing TV for $200. Clear picture, great sound, loaded with features, links with Alexa. While it was the Black Friday special that attracted me to this, I actually had a great experience with the insignia 55” fire tv that I got a few months ago. Though I will agree with what someone else said about being able to get a better TV for the regular price of $480, you will not find a better one for $200... if you can find one.

58 Inch Insignia Fire TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first smart TV. Bought 2 on Black Friday. I love everything about this product. Picture, sound, apps ease of use, 3 HDMI, BlueTooth, Best Buy price and on and on. the Echo Dot was included in the purchase but won't interact. I tried to get the manual from Insignia but it is not listed on their products page. This is the only drawback so far.

Amazing TV for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this review after 2 months of usage. I got this for Blackfriday for $200 and cant describe how happy I am. No where else I can get a TV at this cost. Even without the black friday deal, it is still the best tv for the price and you get a great deal of 4K quality if you have 4K content. I'm so happy with the purchase. I further added a Insignia soundbar which enhanced the sound as well.

Intermittent Sound problem fixed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Happy Black Friday purchase. Overall good TV So those of you having intermittent sound problem as I too had the fixed is to " plug a headphone into the TVs headphone jack a few times", to help clean its contacts. It's located on the left side of the TV. This same problem happened to me and my daughter found the solution on the web. Been normal one week since "fixed". Should be good till next time.

Great 4K TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has exceeded my expectation so far in many ways. First of all, the Thanksgiving price for this device was phenomenal. Second, it was delivered to my house for free my two guys from Geek Squad absolutely free. Third, the setup was hassle free. Lastly, both the picture and sound quality is amazing.

Was in love, now not so much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the tv on Black Friday, hooked it up and it played fine. Picture and sound were perfect. Fast forward no more than 2 weeks later and now the now the sound doesn't come on when the tv comes on. When it does come on...it skips out randomly where the sound just stops working. You go to the TV speakers sound tab in Settings and it won't let you access it and when you do get to the TV Speakers portion, they are off! It's a brand new tv! Shouldn't be having this type of sound issues only 2 weeks after purchase. Soon as I can I'm taking it back to Best Buy and they'd better exchange it or I get my money back. Oh and I notice a number of folks mentioned this issue and the Isignia customer support folks just ignored them...

Sound doesn’t work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound just shuts off. It turns its own TV speakers off and doesn’t let you turn them on. But when it does that it turns off remote speakers as well. So if you are deaf and can’t hear anyway then this is the TV for you. But the rest of us have a big electronic picture mounted to our walls where the sound goes on and off randomly. I bought three on Black Friday for a new house I was buying this year. So four months later I pull them out and mount them to find this issue with all three. Now I see that a lot of people have the same issue. Have contacted Insignia now and hope they have a software or firmware patch coming soon! I like the TV picture and interface other than this and something glitchy with Netflix that I haven’t given up on. It just stops in the middle of a playback periodically and you have to hit resume. It picks up where it left off but it is annoying. I don’t think it is internet speed because it doesn’t appear to be a buffering issue.

piece of junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought the tv on blackfriday 2020 and has been the worst tv ever. this is the dumbest smart tv I've ever seen. started out fine then started having issues with the sound sometimes coming on and sometimes staying off while the tv is on. even after updates the issue is still there. then it moved on to the picture sometimes staying off while you could still hear the sound playing. then the remote quit working with the tv and had to download the app for the remote. also tried 5 different brand new remotes from Best Buy and not a single one would connect to the tv. I bought it this one to replace a 51" Samsung plasma tv that I got from best buy when I bought my first living set in 2013. I never had the first issue with the Samsung tv.
