Ive had this 2 weeks now ....I charged it the first day I got it .... I have used it everyday, I have not had to charge it again and it still shows a full charge! Sounds amazing ....my 3 kids want one now . I connect it to my iPhone ...I use a free "80's Radio" app .... and from hairbands to new wave ...this speaker sounds great! Its heavy and rugged as described built like a rock! ( buy it now its half price ..great deal)

I literally just bought this thing and the first thing I noticed when I turned it on after charging it for 6 hours was the display. I thought that maybe I didn’t charge it long enough because it was missing parts of the display. I had a hard time what was what when pressing the source button because it wasn’t fully displaying my options. The speaker itself sounds really good but the display leaves a lot to be desired honestly... I llnkeep it if Best Buy will let me exchange it for one that works properly

I am more of an audio head I care about audio quality and this speaker does not disappoint, it has been used at my work (McDonald's) all day every day for a year and a half at loud volumes! it is plenty loud enough to fill the whole store and more, it has plenty of bass and sounds really good for being a 30w speaker,its super durable and has had countless drops, grease spills and water splashes, also daily trips in and out of the freezer in freezing temperatures and it has never once broken or stopped working, this has gotta be the most durable speaker ever, you seriously can't break it, it passes the McDonald's test, if you are thinking insignia is iffy I say they are amazing this product is absolutely amazing i love this speaker. Pros: -good sound and bass(wish there was a way to easily adjust it though) - sturdy feel but definitely on the heavier side. Not really an issue since there is a nice handle on the top, but it's something to think about. - fm tuner works great even though there isn't an antenna. I bought this speaker to use at work and was a little worried about reception..turned out not to be an issue and plays loud enough to hear over the machine noise. -battery life is what makes this stand out over all other products. I was able to rock out at full volume for about 30 to 35 hours before recharging. Cons: -I couldn't figure out how to preset fm stations and the instructions were of no help - The bluetooth worked great..at first. After about three days it pretty much quit working. (Would only play at a "whisper" volume. I checked everything and even recharged it..but it didn't fix the issue.) Just to make it clear, FM and aux would play at any volume, just not bluetooth. Which is why I ended up returning it and going a different route to get my audio fix at work. Summary: I loved the speaker! It had my heart (and ears) from the beginning with it's Portability, Sound quality, Battery life, Rugged look and feel. It had everything I wanted, but it let me down when I needed the most. Insignia needs to work on there quality control so that low quality products don't end up on store shelves. If Insignia could somehow guarantee me that it was just 1 defective unit and if I repurchased another speaker I would have no issues... I would fall in love with it again, but I can't let them play games with my fragile heart and nearly empty wallet.

I took a gamble buying this speaker because there wasn't much info on the site or reviews. Be no mistake, it's not a handheld unit but can be carried very easily. I got it to be used in a automotive garage so ruggedness and sound is key! On a charged battery, it can run for 40 hours!! The quality of the sound is amazing with the built in sub. I never knew it even had a built in FM tuner, added bonus! I mainly use it with Bluetooth. I'm sure that I'm missing some key features that aren't listed on the site, but if you're looking at this right now, can't go wrong!!! I was using it at work and a coworker was so impressed that he got one for his boat in the summer.

Overall great speaker, I was very skeptical of the bass and sound quality but so far it has exceeded my expectations. I've rarely had to charge it its the extensive battery life, even after a couple days of use at work, it only went down 1 bar (out of 4 total). The bluetooth connects quick and easy, disconnecting a connected device is as simple as holding down the source button for a couple of seconds to connect a new device. Would highly recommend!

I had been on the lookout for a speaker like this one for almost a year. I finally decided it was time to buy it when I saw it was on sale and I read some good reviews. I was not disappointed when I finally decided to buy this speaker. The bass is incredibly loud for the size of the speaker and the mids still sound very clear even at max volume. If you’re looking for a low cost speaker with decent sound, this is it, I absolutely love it. The battery life is amazing and great sound, what more can you ask for. I doesn’t have a lot of extra features, it’s just a very simple speaker, so don’t expect a lot of bells and whistles.

The speaker sounds great! Bluetooth works awesome and it is very loud with great bass. I like the fact you can play music and use a microphone at the same time. Perfect for karoake. The case is very rugged and sturdy as well. I love this speaker!

Bluetooth works great. FM radio is great. Sound is perfect for any large room or patio. Great bass and overall sound stage. Durable materials.

I love this speaker. The handle makes it easy to carry anywhere you go. The sound is loud and clear. Great battery life. I don’t use the mic input much but the few times I have it’s worked well. The radio doesn’t always pick up clear signal, it doesn’t bother me since I mainly use Bluetooth anyway but that would probably be the only downfall for someone who plans to use it often.

Excellent speaker! Great battery life and sound with ample bass! Sturdy build with nice knobs. I don’t know why, but the knobs got me. Anyways, I bought it to bring out to work (work on a oil rig and travel by helo) but the battery must be made of lead because the security at the heliport said it raised an alarm at the scanner and I couldn’t bring it on the chopper.

Picked this speaker up on sale at Bestbuy.com for $69, was sceptical because of price but was pleasantly surprised at the operation and features it has. The Bluetooth is great. Connects to devices with ease. Clear sound and LOUD. Has USB connection for devices and USB microphones, FM tuner. Rechargeable battery lasts forever. You will not be disappointed!

I was kinda hesitant about buying this insignia brand speaker but it has great sound quality, plenty of volume for around the house or the yard or wherever, long battery can run all day! I've owned vehicles with Bose stereos and currently own a Bose 2.1 surround system. The quality isn't as good as Bose...but it isn't farrr from it.

I bought this for an outdoor pool party hoping it would be sufficient, boy was I wrong! This speaker system is amazing. The sound quality fills up my large backyard. Battery lasts quite a while too and I like my music volume level on high. It has an FM tuner, Bluetooth, aux, and USB to fulfill your source needs. Buy one.

Love the fact this thing can work on both battery and while plugged in. Speaker is very loud, we used it for my sister in law's baby shower at an event space in a building and it easily filled that whole room and pretty much the whole floor of the building. The distance for the speaker is good as well, the person streaming music from their phone was able to walk a good distance from the speaker and still stay connected.

Perfect sound and durability in strength! I bought this for my restaurant employees for those late nights and early mornings, with water resistance, rugged shell and 50 hour portable playing battery life! Just what I needed. Plus, the price was very affordable!

This speaker is awesome. Great battery life, great volume, and good sound quality. There are probably speakers out there that have a little better overall sounds quality but I really don't think this one can be beat for the price.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for me dad. He uses it every where! Beach, park and at home. Bluetooth connects perfectly to his phone and the volume is awesome too. Battery charge lasts a very long time.

For BBQ, Pool parties or any occasion. Iwas very surprised of the sound quality, very clear no distortion. The battery is an A++. The radio signal is F-- 95% of the time you won't get a good reception.

Purchased this for family outings. Great bass and best of all, it will play music from flashdrive. Downside: no wheels, and antenna reception not great. BT works good.
