Some cords when plugged in shimmy or don't have a solid connection and you lose sound or hear a crackle. None of these occur with this cord. It's a good product.

I lost the cords that connect my home theater to my cell phone, so I went to the place I knew would definitely have them, Best Buy! They did not disappoint. They work great. Good buy!

I needed a part to transfer sound from the tv to built in house speakers. Best Buy had the part at a good price and everything works fine.

I recently purchased a new vehicle this past halloween (2015) and I had to buy this because the Aux card only had the AV input for it (Nissan Maxima btw) and I have purchased these before and they are a great invention, they can be used for TV's , home theater systems, tablets, cell phones, practically anything and it will convert the sound evenly into where ever they fit, To me it does not matter what the brand is as long as you buy from a brand that stands behind its product, and this delivers.

It successfully replace the digital optical cord for my surround sound because the connect was broken on my TV. Sound is little less clear but still comes in really well.
