    I had wanted to move away from HDMI cable for my monitor and DVI for my second one so with the choices available on my GPU finally moved up to DP cable. Works fine as expected. I was going to have to move up to this type connection anyway as I'm upgrading my GPU this year also and it comes with 1 HDMI and 3 DP connections. I have one older monitor and it does not have a DP connection.
