Good thing bestbuy was open at that time. Quick stop, cheap cables, and home in 30 minutes. Fired up the new computer and everything went smoothly. The cables may have been pretty cheap compared to others, but I doubt I will ever know the difference.

Friends told me all they needed was a cable. When I brought my computer to Best Buy Geek Squad, they told me all I needed was this DVI cable and it worked! As long as you have the port on the back of the computer and the monitor you're hooking it up to, but all new equipment have these ports.
