    Failed - never heated, cooling light stayed on. Sadly, it seems a normal issue with today's crap manufacturing. Why did my previous dryer last 21 years with minor maintenance? Bestbuy doesn't have a replacement, so i will never known if any of these would ever work. It is a good argument to consider having them set it up, however. It may save a few days in getting a replacement...? I guess the answer is to spend more for something that will work - or get that extended warranty!

    brand new set, the washer is great but the dryer? Right out of the box the dry light was on, and cooling light was blinking. It never heated up whether it was on manual or sensor cycles, went to return it and ordered a second dryer. The same brand and model and it did the same thing right out of the box. Returning it to get a refund.

    The house was built in 2005 and i have used GE and Whirlpool dryers. All dryers worked well except this Insignia dryer. It does not dry and takes 3 times longer than the previous dryers. I cleaned up the vent, it still didn't dry fast. I really like to to return this dryer and I will not buy Insignia anymore.

    worst dryer ever. stop heating after 1 year. sometimes it heats and sometimes it don't. cleaned lint line, checked heating elements and replaced moisture sensors nothing works. Next time I will a simple GE dryer with simple on/off controls.

    Total garbage motor didn't even last a few months now I'm spending more money trying to fix it or buy another y'all should be sued selling this product with no warrantys

    It was delivered and hooked up. It did not work. It was replaced by the same unit which also did not work upon delivery and hook-up. I had an electrician check my power supply and no issues were found. I exchanged for a different brand and there were no issues with that unit. Maybe these were just a bad batch as I have used Insignia products before.

    Worst ever! If you like to run your dryer 3-4 times to dry clothes with cold air, you'll love this model. The dryer doesn't even get hot. Returned it fast.

    Th dryer just stopped getting hot within the first week of purchase . I exchange it out for a new one and still the same thing. Now I’m awaiting a technician for something I just purchased.

    Poor quality, don’t buy

    First, let me say that I’m a single, business professional who takes great care of my things. I’ve had this dryer for about a year and a half and it’s already stopped drying. It’s not a fuse or dirty filter. I’ve eliminated all of the normal things and now gonna have to either repair or get a new one.

    While the design is ok, this machine takes FOREVER to dry anything. We often have to dry things twice so just they won't be damp. Forget drying knots or comforters.
