Item was already bubble wrapped when I saw it before it was loaded on my truck. I noticed the damage as I unwrapped the machine at home.. I didn’t take it as a problem(didn’t believe Best Buy would sell an appliance that wouldn’t work.) I successfully installed the machine in the spot of my previous Dryer. Tested it for approximately 3 minutes without clothes,it worked. Approximately 10-13 days later my adult daughter was using the dryer and brought to my attention that the dryer is not working. I had extended warranty on this dryer. I contacted Geek service department w, who came,assessed problem and told me they cannot help because it will cost too much to repair. During my pickup of the dryer I was not informed of any time limit for reporting on any defects that would render the dryer unusable.I didn’t believe a big and popular company would pass off a product on a unsuspecting customer.
