I have several old Monitors and TVs and old computer that I am able to continue using with this device. If not for this adapter cord, I would have to discard them and purchase a new device.

I used it to mirror my MacBook Air to my TV while going through my wedding photos and I had no problems with it. If I would've had more use for it I would've kept it.
