As good as the Nintendo mini is, we are not in the 80's anymore. Gone are the days of sitting 2 feet away from a tube TV. This extension cable allows you to sit and play at a more reasonable distance from the new flat screen TV's. This cable is a must, if you own the new mini console.

This is a must buy if you've been lucky enough to get your hands on the Nes Classic. The controller it comes with has such a short cord(maybe 30 inches or less) that you almost MUST buy an extension unless you like being a foot from the tv screen. Works flawlessly for me. Recommended.

This is a must have for the anyone with the mini Nintendo NES. The cord for the controller is extremely short and makes it virtually impossible to play without sitting right up on the television screen. This extension cable works flawlessly and I've already purchased a second one.

This item is a necessity if you are buying an NES Classic. The extra 6 feet of cord allows for playing from the couch rather than right in front on your tv. The plastic housing at the end does prevent two controllers from being plugged in at once but this can simply be removed.

This a better option that the wire that comes with the NES Classic. Not as good as the wireless controller.

Must buy for using wired controller with the mini NES classic. The controller only has a 2.5 foot cord. this extension cord gives you another 6 feet and allows you to sit away from the tv. Wireless is an option but i feel the wired controller has a better response and no lag.

Oh man if you're an NES mini classic owner you already know how awfully short those controller cables are! Grab this 6 footer and play from the couch in comfort!! Saw this in my local Best Buy and was an immediate impulse purchase!! In fact I grabbed 2 of them!!

This cable is essential if you own the MINI NES system. It adds 6 feet to the controller so you can actually sit back, relax and play any of the games. Be careful and make sure you get this cable. There are others out there and many are not actually able to work.

This product does a wonderful job of extending the controller wire that comes with the NES Classic. The supplied wire on the Classic out of the box is woefully short. You need this extender cable if you do not want to play literally inches away from your TV.

I was very disappointed with the length of the cord that came with the NES Classic. Having an extension for the controller cord allowed me to sit on the couch and play and i am much happier with that. The price was very reasonable...which was surprising.

My family, mother and sister, wanted a longer cable so they didn't have to sit so close to the t.v.. BUT they didn't want a really thick cable, since the controller is light weight. This cable hit every spot for them. They use regularly and love it.

The mini NES is beyond adorable - perfect in nearly every way...except for that horrendously short controller cable. In comes Insignia's $10 to the rescue. No fuss, cheap - and bam, it takes the cruddy 2' cable into 8 glorious feet. Thanks Best Buy!

If you're looking to extend that short cable for your Nintendo classic addition this is the product you want I purchased two of them and piggyback them to double the length and when I have a friend over I can use them separately for two player fun.

The controllers that come with the system are like WAY too short. This adds the length you need to sit at a comfortable distance from your tv. As for those plastic clips, I removed them. Not even that big of a deal. Now I can plug in two controllers

Whomever had the idea to not include a longer cord with the classic was a pure idiot. This cord is necessary to enjoy the NES Classic. It actually allows you to scoot back from the television.

As it is well known, the NES classic (should you have been able to find one) has controllers that are criminally short at barely over two feet long. This accessory is perfect because it adds six feet of length while also not adding any noticeable input delay, which is a big deal for games like Punch Out!! I definitely suggest getting one of these instead of buying an aftermarket or wired controller.

After playing the system 3 feet from the TV, I bought these to help just extend the viewing position and it makes such a difference. There is no lag in button placement and it definitely helps with a much smoother gaming experience.

If you've used the original controllers, you know they've only got about 4 feet of controller wire slack. This extension lets me play these CLASSIC games from the comfort of my leather couch! Highly recommended for all NES Classic users!

This is a must have item if purchasing the NES mini due to the super short length of the NES mini's included controller cable. If you want to be able to sit back on a couch or chair comfortably then you need to buy this extender! Works great.
