I bought 2 of the extension cords for the nes controller, you can connect multiple extension cords together for the controller to be very long. So it is a good product but is now kind of pointless since they just released a wireless control.

I had to get some extension cables for the classic NES and I had my doubts I could get them long enough to reach across our living room. I bought a number of them for the two controllers and voila! Beautiful...we're gaming from the couch.

IF you were one of the lucky ones to score a NES Classic, you're going to need a couple of things: This extension cable and/or a wireless controller. I prefer this extension since you have the ability to utilize the OEM controller.

An absolute must considering the absurdly short cables on the included controllers. However, you will need to remove a small plastic clip with a tiny phillips head in order to fit two cables into both ports. It shouldnt be something you have to do, but at the same time takes all of 30 seconds, These are most likely left over from Wii products, hence why the clip is there. Still, buy it

If you manage to get an NES mini classic, you need one of these cables. The controllers have a very short cable length of about 2.5 feet. This 6 foot extension makes playing so much better by being able to sit away from the tv.

It was exactly what is needed for the NES Classic. not sure why anyone would want to sit 2 feet from the TV with the length of cord that comes with the NES Classic! This extension cord made all the difference. Thanks insignia!

I don't know why Nintendo only put 3 foot cable on the included game controller. You have to sit right in front of your TV to play anything. The extra 6 feet are much needed and appreciated. Now I can sit in a chair when I play.

Ok, so the clear plastic strap hook that surrounds the male plug will need to be cut off if you intend to use more that one controller on the NES Classic, but the extra length for the cable is the best thing to have.

Everything is great about the new classic mini except the extremely short cable that comes with the controller. This extension cable does a great job in solving that problem. I bought two of these and they work great
