    I can't say there is anything special about this cable, but it definitely gets the job done that I need it for. It may not be the prettiest cable, but it is hidden behind my audio equipment so it doesn't need to be. I recommend this over higher priced cables, especially if it will be hidden. As a disclaimer, I do not know whether a "higher quality cable" would actually result in better quality.
