It carried the audio just fine but if you have an amp with 3d passthru,,, Use only the hdmi. the sound quality is tremendously better. I say I would not recommend this to a friend only because I would be telling em to use a better amp!

I've been working on the setup for two days and I'm still not satisfied. I know that in time I'll learn it all. I think the software should be more intuitive.

I honestly can't tell if it improves the sound quality or if it is just that the TV, receiver and speakers are new and also good quality.
