Got a new receiver which has optical outputs. When I discovered I also had optical inputs on our LG TV (also bought at BestBuy), I bought this cable and now have theater like sound watching movies on TV with the sound coming through our 4 speaker stereo.

After purchase and set up of a home theater tv, I needed a longer optical cord to connect the tv to the receiver. After consulting with a Best Buy tech, I purchased the six foot Insignia optical cable. Easily installed, works perfectly, all is well!

When I previously purchased a soundbar, I had difficulty installing the device and getting the quality sound that was promised and expected. When I returned to the Best Buy department, the manager advised I purchase these cables and actually found a set that was open box. Once I installed the cables, I had the end result I had expected.

No, but its a placeholder name, and you know who you are. But this is a good set of optical cables, and my first set I've ever bought. I would suggest you buy it. Why? Because Freedom to play video games in peace at 2 AM, that's why.

I needed a cable to upgrade the existing analog cable I was using with my sound bar. I upgraded to this optical cable. It's the right length and seems to be a very good quality. Everything has a clean, crisp sound.

Not a lot can be said about this product. Other than it works great, connects easily and good price. What else do you need to know? For spects check out best buys website. On this item I recommend that you skip the open box.

The cables were used to connect my sound box to my TV. The cables that originally came with the sound box were flimsy and broke. These cables are thicker and stronger and should hold up well. Connecting them was very easy.

I went in looking for a Monster cable that was on sale...no luck. This was al they had in stock, despite going out of my way to a bigger store than is close by. Anyway, good price, it is longer than I was looking for ,which turned out great. It works well, and does the job.

The audio cables connect easy, work flawlessly allowing for surround sound connection without changing the TV options. That and the price for the Insignia is so much better, same great quality.

This is a simple digital optical audio cable and was the cheaper of the models offered at the store. So far it has worked great and well worth the price versus spending more other name brands.

I bought this optical audio cable as replacement for the one that came with my Sony soundbar. I must say it was a huge upgrade from the factory one. It thicker and better made. Then it was much longer too.

As long as you get both sets of cables, this product is great. The entire room is filled with great sound from the small speakers which are easy to hang. I definitely would recommend this product.

The cable does exactly what I wanted it to and that transmit audio. I have had a few in the past that did not perform so well and the added length is great and gives it wiggle room on my desk area.

These cables are awesome and able to produce quality sound options when connected to my audio devices. The price was a huge factor when shopping other big box chains.

had to replace my old TOS/Link cable after 15 years or so. never thought it would go bad, but it did. found this one. right length, right price. works like a charm.

This cable is great. Why pay more. After all light is going to travel. I used this to hook up my sound bar instead of using HDMI that way I only have one cable going to my sound bar.
