The display port is not a universal port, but if you're going from display port to HDMI, this is the part. As expected, Insignia delivers quality at a good price and this one was backed by Best Buy's stellar service. If you need it, just go get it and complete your project.

Does the job well, but a little pricey

That said, this cable works "as advertised"--solid fit in the connections and apparently does the job--no connectivity issues. I've bought numerous Insignia TVs and other products over the years, and trust the brand. No need to spend the extra dough on Monster or whatever.
