In the middle of the install I ran to BestBuy and luckily they had this. Not only did it display on the tv, but the sound for the computer comes through the tv speakers as well. Works great and hasn't given me a problem.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This cable was used to clone audio from the display port of a graphics card to circumvent the tv audio decoder (signal sent straight to the amplifier) I wouldn't use this as a primary source cable for video to a monitor/tv, as it has limited bandwidth, so 4k 120fps is out of the question!
