I think a Displayport to HDMI cable should be about $20 tops, not double that. With that being said, the cable works well. I am using it to connect a 40" 1080p television to a gaming computer and have no concerns or complaints. It works as advertised. I am guessing there are less expensive options online, but having to wait was not at all appealing to me. Best Buy has these in stock (at least they did when I needed them), which made them worth the premium for me.

Went next door to a Staples - they didn't have one. Asked if there was a Best Buy in the area - went there - and of course Best Buy had the cable. Thank you Best But!
