Doesnt work on Hp envy lol

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the cable thinking it would help me connect my HP envy to my monitor which only has a Display Port and HDMI - The HDMI slot was already in use for my PS5 since the Display Port is not compatible with that. This was the next best solution I could come up with without sacrificing the picture quality on my laptop. Unfortunately it didn't work out. I wasn't able to test if it was the cable or not which is the only reason I don't give this a better rating. Ended up purchasing an HDMI switcher and that works perfectly for what I need it for!
