    Did not work on the ASUS Vivobook. Needed to Return it and get an active DP to HDMI with USB adapter. If your laptop or device allows HDMI to DP then it should work

    I bought this for a two-monitor (4k) setup so that I could run HDMI to both monitors from an HP dock that uses DisplayLink. The cable works out of the box without any special software or settings. The image comes through as clear as if it was natively connected. The cable is about the same price as other online retailers that aren't named Amazon. Although I've only used it for a few weeks, it's been reliable every time I turn on my computer.

    the hole was very tight, but once it was plugged in the feeling was amazing. i pulled it out and put it back in a few more times. eventually the hole got a little looser, but the cable still spewed its data into the both ports with ease.
