Easy DisplayPort to HDMI fix

I had just purchased monitors a few months back and they. Only had HDMI ports. I didn’t want to buy a new monitor again so I found these conversion cables. They were a very simple and inexpensive fix to a potentially expensive problem. They worked perfectly.

A Great Converter Cable for Display

good alternative to 4k DP to HDMI adapters

Considered getting an adapter, but was worried about signal degradation when adapters + cables are used. It's also long enough for most setups and the price ain't bad either!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Dell S2721DGF which supports 144 Hz at 1440p over HDMI 2.0 (it will do 165 Hz with DP but only has 1 DP and 2 HDMI ports). I wanted to hook up 2 computers to the monitor without switching cables. I had an older DP to HDMI cable and it would only support 1080p at 60 Hz, not ideal at all. The 2nd computer I wanted to hook up to only had DP output, no HDMI port. A lot of cables I found, especially on Amazon, only supported lower resolutions/refresh rates, or were unclear on what they support. I bought this one because it's a more trustworthy brand than the no name stuff on Amazon, and I was sure it was HDMI 2.0 because it supports 4K 60 Hz. And easy to return at the store if it didn't work. So I bought this one, and it works like a charm, I'm running it at 2560x1440 at 144 Hz with no problems. Saves the actual DP port on my monitor for my gaming PC (my 2nd is a work PC).
